Idk, the BDs were cross converted or something like that. Also a worse upscale than this ARC dvd upscale by Urotsuki. They are blurrier than the DVDs with less grain
Also the color primary or something was tagged weird in urotsukis BD encode and playing it on mpv with GPU-next made it super dark like the r1 DVDs. But it displayed fine on regular vo=GPU

I have bad news for you. The person running seadex is not only a tranny. They list their tranny cabal's shitty CR releases above everyone else's. They are so anti-fansub it's not funny. I've seen several groups banned from nyaa just in the last 2-3 years. It's so bad actual groups won't even use the tracker anymore even through burner accounts. They're also selling accounts for $500+ each when they create them for free for their tranny friends.

I connected to discord one day to lurk their servers to find out wtf was going on (it was horrible). I used some browser script I've forgotten to snoop around to see what private channels they had. I found one called "straightphobic" that they deleted the moment I posted a screenshot of what I found on /a/. The seadex admin is the worse kind of tranny. The terminally online 24/7 uses a picture of their Frankenstein face as their avatar and does nothing but rant about what people post on /a/ kind of tranny. They have alert bots set-up to alert their channel any time one of their screennames or group names gets posted on /a/, reddit, twitter etc.

They've also somehow gotten their own releases listed above everyone else's in those gay auto-downloaders all the zoomers use to keep their Plex and Jellyfin servers up to date.

These people aren't even doing real fansubs. They're all CR rips with dogshit subtitles. The other anon is right if you haven't learned Japanese by now you might as well stop watching.

The thing that hurts the most is the fact that these people have gotten all the old 80s-2000s era xvid and h.264 releases delisted from places like nyaa. So you can't even grab those old releases anymore to get the script and apply it to new BDs when those come out. They hoard them for themselves so they can have a monopoly on that stuff.

There are two primary reasons why they won't do it. The first is they don't want to hurt domestic sales of the magazines and paperbacks they issue (3 limited editions!). The second is the publishing houses in the west doing the awful translations don't want to lose their monopoly.

If it wasn't for those two things they would have moved over to digital a long time ago. The real crime is no one has released a proper two-screen tablet in the book form factor. All the tablets I've tried are horrible. I keep trying to replace my real books with one and I've given up.

I'll let you in on a little secret: They're the same exact .torrent files with the same exact trackers. You do not need the tracker. You can use the magnet. You're seeing one tracker reporting the number of seeds from 3 weeks ago vs. 3 hours ago. If you bother to connect you'd find plenty of seeds if the torrent is more than a couple of hours old.

The fact that people haven't moved on from trackers over to pure magnets and an indexer after 25 years is really stupid.

I read the manga. They release a new one on the first and last Friday of every month and post it in the Onimai threads. I think the torrent had a couple of corrupted .cbz files that were fixed on the above MEGA.

They have have an XDCC bot to but I forget what the link is.

Horrible for manga. Only good for LNs. .cbz is used for manga because it's just a zip file renamed filled with images. Maybe some metadata. So it works everywhere.

.epub is only needed for LNs because they often contain more advanced formatting (xml) and embedded links for things like the table of contents. It also mixes text with formatting with images. You don't need any of that shit for manga.

.cbr is acceptable but I don't know why anyone uses it. I always pull the images out and re-zip them and rename to .cbz to keep my archive consistent.
