He does this in every one of his works, and everything else is just an addition. It’s not that I’m complaining, he really does this very well, but it hardly requires more than one volume. That’s exactly why my favorite of his works is the 3rd volume of the Sayaka's LN. It contains only what the author does best, with nothing superfluous.
