>>288898565I totally disagree. I think it's one of the best examples of Ryu's tendency towards brazenly metaphorical and thematically heavy writing. The contradictions are mostly negligible (other than the Hanyuu one which I agree was too far). More than anything, it remained consistent with the previous chapters in the way that's most important: the characters are in-character and the plot exists for them instead of being the other way around like in Sotsugyou. That's the kind of mindset I want to see in any more Higu related works.
