Surely enough, there is more than a dozen words that could convey the sentiments evoked by "peak" or "aura farming" (both of which are proper English constructs, but are rather overused as of late) a lot more succinctly and precisely. But most people would rather use what I like to call "linguistic shortcuts", or said more plainly, just say whatever it is everyone else says, without attempting to sound a little distinguished.
