So, what peoplel have been chiming on about is that there was a distinct shift in the artstyle of his comics. His perspectives and design choices got somewhat skewered for some peoples taste. And its not that there is anything wrong with what he was doing or is doing, its just that it was something of a jarring shift from one consistent style to another. He simply decided to switch it up or evolve in whatever way he felt and a lot found it to be very off putting.There was at one point a Melkor General and it was how I discovered the artist and it became my regular reason to come back, but the release of new pages went from one ever week to it being an endless slog awaiting the release of new panels. I still check in from time to time to try and get something new and worthy, but it seems to only come at a snails pace these days.

Anyway, here's an example of what everyone's talking about. Just a dramatic shift from one artstyle he had established to something different.
It sucks because his stuff is top notch and great, but his ouput and effort wildly vary.

So yeah. I love Melkor; he's probably my favourite artist. Love his style, love his choice of colouring, love how he draws, love his characters. The problem is that in recent years, he just more or less goes at an absolute crawl when releasing new pages and stories, you'd be better off watching old people fuck for faster results. Which coincidentally, is something that he has a likening to draw. I miss the generals of him too but as stated and posted before, a lot of people were really put off by some of his perspective and facial expression choices and other such nitpicks, but they weren't wrong in their assessments. He also seemed to have done a 180 and not be as consistent in between stories and character designs. Its still interesting seeing him grow as an artist though, but it seems as though he doesn't have a fire lit under his ass as he used to.I'd be tempted to even commission and write a story for him to draw, but at the speed he goes anymore, it might seem like a waste of money. Still, I look forward to see where he takes us next, wherever and whenever that might be.

It’s harder to have images randomly pop up in the adult space that direct new customers or ad eyeballs to you than it was in the past, and the open samples you post used to be saved and reposted, and it was “easier” to be lazy and reverse image search on both PC and mobile. Now, unless you have a set of rule 34 or search tags/kinks you make that gets people to find you either from a booru or you get lucky with what’s left of twitter, you don’t have the same interaction , and without interaction, you lose possible plot customers, and patrons that will support to find the plot, like incase did. The other thing I noticed is that there’s a shift in porn trends for the body types he makes that he may not be making stuff for fast enough, or even touching, which causes him to lose out cause it does not have the tag. Case point, a lot of milfs in adult drawings now tend to have creampies, risk sex or some type of breeding talk, to the point it’s become a meme on the edgy part of the non porn net, which he does not have at all from what I remember

And that's it for me. I really want him to get some new content out there which he seems to be working on at the moment but you'd be better off waiting for piss to dry. We've all more or less have been hoping at some point that he gets his shit together and choose an art style that is more consistent, but he seems to be getting much more experimental.More than anything, I just hope he gets his shit together and comes out with some new stuff and stories and characters and such. And to see something new. Or at least some sort of resolution to the current stories he has going.
