the constant reorienting of menus gets more and more confusing. i think he should do less about the rpg system, since it's at a good point now with being able to have lots of npcs, who can do jobs, and all slaves can get pregnant now. the interaction with the slave girls on the other hand was probably not touched in a year or two, every girl has mostly the same text, just the CGs vary, but they are quite small and can't be enlarged by clicking them.

been playing for a long time, and this run i went for academic for the first time. one gets 200 slavery bucks every day, and can earn additional cash by lecturing in the academy. this gives time to read some books in the beginning, though a lot don't matter anyway. medicine is only "worth" to get up to 40, but it's only an increase of 10 hp per stimpack. higher academics, science and intelligence above maybe 90 is pointless too, it just increases the money earned by lecturing marginally. after progressing in the lower right course, one gets the ability to buy performance enhancing drugs that increase str, dex, stam, stam rec, charm, manipulate, stealth and maybe others by 20 for 1.000 bucks up to 120. those skills drop every day, but paying the money every few days is laughably cheap.
since one can now capture and process male slaves, this has become a cheesy way to make money from low tier enemies like those swamp bandits, who previously were simply a resource drain.
raising sexual and bdsm stats though, is still a mystery for me. lower levels seem to raise slower than higher levels, like it's with combat stats, which raise on a critical hit only.
the real problem is raising and managing stats of npcs. one either grinds for example willpower by assigning them to morning bj, only to humiliate her for -1 willpower per day (there are other ways, but this one requires just two clicks), repeating it for a long time, or spamming new day while they wear humiliating clothes or have another % chance of losing willpower. but for being able to spam it one needs to have enough money and food to burn through, which means that the game is already beaten. at this point i usually lose interest, since the sex system is too repetitive and cheeseable (start seducing, casual, talk dirty (rude)).
with the rework of the npcs which happened over the last year i am very hopeful that GRIMDARK will improve on all of it eventually.

I think I figured Raana out, finally. It's actually more similar to Jack o Nine Tails than I thought, where the focus is getting slaves happy / to like you first, then discipline them. If you don't do that they never get fixed. Jack o Nines had a "mindbroken" state that Raana doesn't have. They basically just get to point of irrecoverably hating you in this game.
That said, after 4 days of this I just made my base starter troops supersoldiers and gave myself $10M. Tired of the grind.

I'm still deciding on a name for the H VN. So far the name is Hearthside Stories since the majority of scenes take place in the homestead (main base). In the main game the player will have access to a safe zone (base) they can teleport to and from wherever. The main game is called Yours to Conquer, which has a website ytcgame.com and a demo coming near the end of the year. Some features in the main game's demo:

You can be rough but the domination is in her being totally loyal and doing things for you (cooking, cleaning, etc.). The spirit girl loves being dominated sexually and loves when the MC is controlling. She likes it rough. The high elf is similar to the shortstack in her route. The dark elf is a villain (mayadere) and you can totally break her cold personality and breed her hard (or something like making her wear some revealing maid outfit). They all like the MC and he likes them. It is supposed to be a positive game (colourful etc.), I'm not a fan of dark worlds and dark content (rape, gore, etc.).

A lot of the domination is in dialogue options and how you can control the situation. For example, when you first meet Rune (the spirit girl), you can remind her you have her stone (her soul is bound to) and you set the rules. I'm also open to ideas

My main contention with the overall genre is rug-pulling many devs do e.g. rape victim suddenly falls in love with mc. I've been actively writing and testing my lore for 3 years. The girls and their stories are set and will not drastically deviate, so I'm not going to radically change something. Also, I'm an immersionfag so I would need a good reason for something crazy like the example you listed (regardless of the idea, just saying my stories wouldn't leap like that).

I see my game as being dominating in mainly the fact you are 1 guy with a large group of women who you control. It isn't a domination game like some H games where the man hard dominates girls' BDSM style and rapes or whatever.

Sirena is the villain for the first part of the game, but with the VN I'm writing the content in whatever order I or the fans want. Consider it more episodic. That way players aren't stuck behind a shit ton of reading and story and can just get to the cute scenes with the girls and fuck them. Also, this way players get a wider range of girls rather than being stuck behind a specific one for story reasons. Everyone wants Sounet (tomboy frilly knight) content, I can shift to presenting her scenes and doing H for her. I think a lot of devs make the mistake of locking themselves into a specific game, story and path then the players get cucked into it. I'm more open approaching it for now with the H VN.

Speaking off that, with at least 40 happiness (or less with high Charm skill) and a fully upgraded bathroom you can [Take to Bathroom] -> [Normal] and use [Talk] to farm +1 affection / +1 happiness over and over. It only takes 40 in-game minutes, meaning you can do this about 15 times per day. You can very easily get affection to soulmate this way.

The problem, IMO, is that the game systems will hold you back from trying new things without spending a ridiculous amount of time training. If you decide to start with 25 base attributes and no combat skills you'll end up grinding basic training for over 100 days before you feel competent in combat, more if you want to tackle harder challenges. Another example, if you don't have enough survival skill you won't be able to succeed at a hunt or scavenge check, but you need to succeed at a check to raise your skill meaning that you'll have to rely on critical successes.
Also the game has very little automation, so you end up feeling the weight of every click. Want to train with your followers? That's 6 clicks to add them to your party, 8 clicks to train, then 3 more click to reset their jobs once you are done training, repeat that every day for 50 days.

My conclusion with this game is that if you start off in warrior class (or whatever0, give yourself $10M, get the 4 "starter" followers and cheat-max their stats up to top level and then arm/armor max them, the game progresses pretty quickly in terms of story events. It's still grindy but much more manageable.
I really never got into the hunt/scavenge/academic paths. Doing the above pretty much eliminates those as required, outside building skillset or hitting some of the story paths (attending college, vs. teaching there.)
You're right about bath-slave thing; the other path I found is assigning groups of slaves as "followers" then preaching anti-willpower to them (as an atheist; no idea what other religion paths offer.) Doing this lowers their willpower 3 a day, along with whatever other activities you put them through.
I did find there's a sort of mind-break; once willpower is 0 (or lower) it doesn't matter if the slave loathes you, they'll still do everything you ask and not try to escape. You can force willpower down with the whole religion thing. Just don't forget you created a party of weak af unarmed slaves and get into a major fight (which I did accidentally.)

this isn't even needed, since the drug one can buy after attending that one class for 4-5 times is like an in-game cheat, it costs only 6k to get from 0 to 120 in a lot of skills, and then 1k every 10 days or so . this makes all the charm/manipulate books obsolete, it negates age related mali, it makes one a melee supersoldier without any training. melee is cheaper and stronger than ranged, so ranged isn't needed. most skills are basically useless for the MC, while it takes way too long for the slaves to train, just to get a minor bonus. also, because manipulate is so high, one can "sexual options>start seduction>casual>talk>dirty talk (rude)" to make the girls even easier to convince for the day. i really want to like this game, but the superficial changes happening each update, don't help with the core problems of bad progression, having no automation like the other anon said, and sex scenes that get boring pretty fast after one has reached a certain threshold.
