The smaller crossovers were annoying, but the fact that everything the book had been leading up to was paid off in the Godwheel crossover including the death of the series' main villain was utterly ridiculous. >>9158730The problem with Mantra is that the story never settle down to a status quo like other superheroes but didn't commit to being a ongoing narrative either, so you end with breadcrumbs of plot and breadcrumbs of every day life that don't really mix well. The story really needed more villains of the week or something.
