Any oldfags remember bikini karate babes?I feel like it had so much potential, I remember stumbling across it in a PC gamer magazine 20 something years ago and thinking it was such a fun concept. Girls getting powers from their bikinis and fighting each other with the goal of ripping it off. But all that came from it was a crappy 2d fighting game with greenscreened girls that looked bad even for its time with shitty choreography and not even a full comic afaik, just some random pages. At best all we got was one character would have a finisher where she ripped the bikini top off the other girl, I don't think there was even any nudity.I think part of the problem is it never took itself seriously, almost like the creators were too self-conscious about making the world/gameplay/lore real and instead just went with making it silly and playful. Ended up being a shallow mortal kombat parody with hot girls and poor gameplay that wasn't even sure if it should have an adult rating, when it could have been its own thing as a fighting game where each character has their motivation and backstory and the end result of every fight was the bikini got stripped entirely and we do get real nudity and fun reactions as a girl goes from confidently fighting skillfully to stripped and humiliated and humbled, instead of a goofy silly butt bump or arm windmill that looks embarrassing bad.idk maybe I'm too harsh, it was a cool idea, but felt like so much potential was squandered with it.
