I wanted to wait for my wife, who I would make my first and only as a sign of how committed I am to her and didn't want her to feel insecure or unappreciated. I made.the conscious decision to wait for my wife.amd turned down sex several times. I also wanted the best for every girl, and didn't want to sleep with them without committing to them and taking care of them. Wouldn't be right.

I had imagined when I was younger that I would marry a woman and she would be my first and appreciate that I waited, but they don't seem to care except to see it negatively. Because so many of them see it as a red flag, I am set now on never telling anyone, including the woman I marry if that happens for me which I doubt it will. I will likely just rot alone - honestly you get to a point where you prefer to be alone and the feeling of having missed out on important milestones prevents you from trying.

Mentally, I've accepted solitude and I'm not sad about that. It feels sad and pathetic when I think of having a relationship with women now, so I just stop thinking of sex/women/relationships entirely, just because I know they all have done what I haven't while I missed out (by choice, which makes me feel stupid and wasted) and would likely either not appreciate me waiting or ridicule me behind my back for being so old and not having had sex. So I bury those feelings and simply don't think about it. I also avoid them irl and if one talks to me I keep it as superficial, brief and distant as possible - which actually seems to interest them moreso. I don't really care anymore to get to know anyone.
