Generally what you want to do with any woman is relate to the setting around you and try to find some humor in the little details. At least, that's what has worked for me.

One time I picked up a short-haired arthoe chick just making conversation at a Mexican place. We were beside each other in line & I just started talking riffing about the daily special (it just so happened to be Taco Tuesday) & blah blah. My friend was there & I got her to come sit with us to eat. We made casual conversation. I got her info & within the week we were smashing.
