Hanging around /g/ a lot and seeing tech companies opt for cheap labor solutions has made me bitter towards Indians, despite most I've met in real life being rather respectful. This has also expanded into casual racism towards other groups that I'd really not like to see progress further (the former statement about talking to Indians also applies here, I work in customer service and minorities tend to be more respectful on average). How can I ensure this remains edgy banter and doesn't transpire into life altering ideologies?
First get off 4chan.Second get to know the history and culture of other cultures beyond a cursory glance. If it’s India specifically you care about, there’s so much history and shit that’s never taught about it.
