Ever since I first watched Squid Game back in 2021 I absolutely fell in love with the character Kang Sae-Byeok. I liked how she was a really attractive female character but she was never once sexualized and she had a cool stoic persona that's not too common in female characters. I also loved how she had a genuinely good heart despite normally acting cold to others. She ultimately just wanted to help her family. And so I've been obsessed with Sae-Byeok ever since. Oddly enough it's not her actor Jung Ho-Yeon I'm attracted to. When out of character as Sae-Byeok I don't find her all that attractive. But anyway. I started college recently. And guess what. In my class there's a girl who looks. EXACTLY. LIKE. SAE. BYEOK. OH MY GOD. And I don't mean Jung Ho-Yeon either she just literally looks like Sae-Byeok in character with the hairstyle and everything. And she normally sits not that far away from me. And she somewhat acts like Sae-Byeok too but somewhat less serious as obviously we're not in the middle of a Squid Game, lol. She doesn't smile or laugh often but she does make sort of sarcastic deadpan jokes. Every time I pass by her I can't help but blush and sweat really hard. And best part I've been her assigned as her partner on projects like THREE or FOUR times by now. And when talking to her my voice is almost always really shaky and my hands trembling. At first she sort of seemed oblivious but then stared at me for a few seconds and asked if I was okay. Our interactions were mostly formal but she did congratulate me and her other partners for working hard. And she did reveal a few surface things about her to me like that sushi is her favorite food, she loves heavy metal, she likes to draw, she likes dark comedies, etc. And what I'm asking here on 4chan is...WHAT SHOULD I DO?! How should I even approach her?
>>33962033So a few things here. I'm not sure you liking her on the basis of her looking like a fictional character is a good foundation. Never ever bring this up to her. Do you actually even like her for her or only because she looks like the character? Beyond that though just act natural. Don't try to force things. Her sharing a few interests with you isn't a terrible start. Perhaps ask her more about those interests.
Not exactly an expert on approaching women but I can recommend recognizing stressJust mentioning it because often it helps me in social situations to simply remind myself that I am stressedAnd when I realize that, everything seems less catastrophic
i don't know. it kind of sounds like you are fetishizing her. ask yourself this. if she didn't look like the character would you still be interested?
>>33962033I mean I can't exactly blame you. Kang Sae-byeok is pretty hot.
