I don't understand what everyone's problem is with Christianity.

I'm an alcoholic.
I got drunk just about every night for twenty some years.
I was also a hate filled Nazi just like a lot of you here.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior one night when I was drunk and felt suicidal.
My life changed.
It wasn't all at once. I didn't even really notice at first.
But I met my wife within two months of that night.
The hate in my heart left. I got rid of all my nazi shirts and music.
Then after awhile, once I really felt the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) growing in me, I prayed to God to make me stop drinking.
I haven't been drunk since that night.
Not a gradual stop. A full, no desire to get drunk, stop the very next day.
I loved alcohol and God blessed me because I still can have a beer or two when I go out to eat or at a party but I haven't drank a drop by myself at home or been drunk since that night.
There is no way that would have happened if Jesus Christ wasn't real. Don't give me any mind over matter shit. I tried all that. I cried out to Jesus to make me stop being a drunk and I haven't had a desire to get drunk once since that night.
Jesus Christ is alive and will do all that He says in the Bible.
Get on your knees and pray to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and help. Do it for real with all your heart and He will help you.
If you do it as a joke or without faith He won't.
