>>23259099Yes and no, while drones have made a difference when we look at the war in ukriane they are still fundamentally just using WW1 trench warfare tactics and while FPV quadcopter suicide drones have become a very important factor in that conflict it still remains a very typical a war of atrittion especially because both sides are deploying this type of drone and because very few of these drones are actually armed with shaped charge munitions capable of disabling or destroying a tank. Most of them basically just have a hand grenade attached to them.Also drones/UAVs being employed in warfare is nothing new and they have been in use since WW2. its how disposable and frequently used they have become that makes them particularly scary in this conflict.
