Right before Trent, Pius IV said to stop burning the Virgin worshiping heretics. They twisted this into saying that Virgin worship was allowed.

Pius XII, in 1950s, inserted Mary between the faithful and the Lord Jesus Christ. A "co-redemtrix" Jesus never said this in the Bible, and it didn't exist before Pius XII. It is absolutely not Christian.
