holy fuck I can't stand those schools, they're so fucking horrible to me. My first highschool is so small, I couldn't handle going or being inside of it now. Those office lights they have are so bad, they're so bright and blah and I am sure they do do it for the effect it has on others and the mood and atmosphere it creates. I didn't finish HSit was all in the midst of a small town, I hated it there and I moved to the big city in a more liberal part of the country and everyone told me not to do it, they were all xenophobic and freaked out, like they were horrified by the idea of moving to the city, it's not even a big deal to me now at all, it's so simple. But to them it was insane, like they couldn't handle it or comprehend it. Small town people for life holy shit, among other things just really xenophobic. Anyway, the city I moved to had an alternative learning school that was really nice, it was in a nice big building but it was an old building where the architecture was kind of classical a bit it had some class basically, and inside there wasn't these awful bright fluorescent lightbulbs everywhere, the lights were a lot more mild and less noticeable and more natural looking. Most of the people that went there though were like wayward youth and juvenile delinquents and stuff and the odd older people, because the school was open to anybody. I remember it was kind of strange, they taught all this stuff about native americans, for english, but it wasn't just that, they were teaching you about like inequality and stuff like in a more in depth way. It was a lot nicer then the regular highschool I went to. I was still a teenager as well. But still, it's kind of pointless to learn all this shit about inequality in north america and indigenous peoples.
