Brutal. Imagine bagholding that shit for years, buying the dips, following the company news, and for what? Meanwhile the average person gets rich by retardmaxxing into AI / semiconductor stocks.

>>

He actually did the opposite. A deal with some private fund that was supposed to invest fell through. One of their guys had already taken over as CEO for months and quit/was fired as the deal fell through. I suppose it looks like there's some operational problems, also having now had several CEOs. Their numbers haven't been that bad though, I think they are profitable at current gold price, but now that debt coming due late this year is a problem. It's always hard/impossible to invest in something like this as retail not knowing what's really going on with the mine. A lot of people know a lot more than us I'm sure. Not a good spot to bet money.
>>
>>24268124
Yeah Idk what Walter was thinking when financing the mine building at 10-12% interest rates. Really makes me ponder.
>>
>>24268148
Yeah those Nebari financings were brutal which also made them a red flag. Not only high interest rates but huge amounts of shares and warrants on top it was crazy. Amazing how you start building a mine at $2k gold and your stock falls 90% as the mine gets into operation with gold more than doubling in the meantime.
I remember some CMMG regulars were invested in LIO years ago, hopefully they got out at some point.
>>
>>24268168
I feel like if they financed better, it could have worked out.
>>
Really boring end of the day, i basically did nothing because Im back at break even, just green by a couple of dollars. And BZUSDT is back at 108. So I'm still on the fence because the war is obviously going to be reseted, i just dont know if bots will use that for a fast squeeze before the spike.
>>
>>24268298
I think so too. Also still a possibility the deal with Arete fell through because of some random disagreement and not an actual problem with the mine, and they manage to keep ramping up production slowly and get a decent refinancing on the debt. Not sure how likely that is right now but could happen. If they still are profitable with the mine albeit lower production than planned, one would think that a refinancing would be possible on not terrible terms. But financing terms are always terrible with this company for some reason.

>>
>>24268124
Occam's Razor helps a lot with shitcos like these. It's "cheap" because it's a chronically underperforming, poorly managed garbage company with a subeconomic, subscale asset. Its fair and terminal value is 0 simply said.

yeah yeah, everyone asks me why the fuck. should i want to live there etc. its cheaper in things that matters, safer and it aligns with my objectives lonng term. Also from what Ive seen the avg Bulgarian brunette is not that different from our chicks so its a bonus.

We're taking Cuba now the war in Iran is over. I told y'all they're building an economic block. First energy then miners. We're gonna run cartels out of Colombia to mine those mountains. Gonna need to invade Canada eventually too, so pray for panman
>>
>>24268641
It's true that there often is a good reason why something is cheap, but not always. You have watched too much Rick Rule, small assets can easily be profitable as well especially with this gold price. Plenty of 30-40koz producers making good money right now. Mako Mining has two of them.
But sure it looks pretty bleak right now for LIO and I wouldn't invest until we know more about how the mine is doing and how that debt is going to be dealt with. Every time they have announced a financing the stock has plummeted like 20% lol. I'm guessing they won't go to 0, but even if you knew that for certain you could still get killed in another hugely dilutive financing below market with a full 3 year warrant, a LIO special.

> Is it easy to get a residence permit?
not really, Bulgaria is very strict with immigrant stuff, but I found Im a "highly-qualified" worker so I can be hired by a Bulgarian company and get a Blue Card, from the looks of it they see my profile a lot in some platforms so maybe that could happen this year if the bureaucracy allows it.
> why you no like Colombia
I live nice here, in a safe town but i have other goals and its getting too expensive in the long term to reach them (get my PPL, Masters/PhD, buy land, found a CNC business, etc). And after some long research I found Bulgaria is the best choice for me, i don't care too much about western Europe and the other countries didn't align too well with the other stuff. For example the cheapest loan i could get is 1.2% interest rate PER MONTH, in Bulgaria is like 5% per year. we are getting taxed too much and the minimum wage affected prices so much i had to cancel some big buys. Aviation is like the biggest reason Tbh, if i get the PPL in an EASA country that works for the whole EU, compared to Colombia where it only works there and i have to spend more money and time for a conversion.

change of plans, im resting on USDT for now, I think Monday will be a wet fart and oil will drop a bit more before the shitstorm, I will buy when that happens
>>24269083
Emerald mining is very unstable and depends on how much pussy or guerrilla aligned the current government is, i would say it's even sketchy. But I did a small research a long time ago, maybe things have changed.

At least here in Colombia I need to use a broker platform to convert local currency to USD like wise or Globan66, same when I have to withdraw, i don't like it, specially when Im used to withdraw in minutes via Binance P2P. On the other side Vantage offers crypto, credit cards and bank transfer. I guess it because they are so old they still have legacy systems and to avoid money laundering.

What are your guys predictions this week for oil / PMs?

I read today that large shipping companies are establishing land-based routes to circumvent the blockade. Obviously more expensive and time-consuming, but where there's a will there's a way.
