>To most, this place is nothing more than a mound of scap and unwanted refuse. To others, it holds a treasure trove of lost components and technology. And to a rare few, it is the final resting place of sacred things and friends.

>We periodically host a web-based battle royale that can include anything and anyone. Shenanigans ensue, and some people attempt to write it into semi-coherent narratives, playing the part of the characters within!

>Needless to say, the troopers were quietly glad the green lady eased up thanks to the orange one's prompting. Getting a closer look at the ladder, recognition dawned on the Marine's face in the passenger seat.
(MRN #10) Oh hey, you're that android chick. Whatsyourface... Rei or something?
>Well, he at least sort of knew her from the briefings he had (mostly) paid attention to. But to answer their questions, the man on the gun nodded at both parties.
(MRN #12) There's no hostiles yet as far as we can tell... Hm, we're here investigating this place for now. Intel's identified it as a "Whiskey Outpost" belonging to a "Federation". But it ain't Super Earth for that matter so we're not entirely sure who they are. Thus the looksee.
>The passenger trooper gave a firm nod at that before continuing himself.
(MRN #10) Exactly what he said. It's not dangerous just yet per se, buuuuut it might be. Thus the armed response.
>Case in point, the Longswords were STILL circling nearby and the light frigate was likewise hanging out higher up in the sky.

>Or the towering metal king and his assembled underlings...
>Or even both at once, either way, if their technology permitted it, there would only be one other biological life-sign in the immediate area besides the soldiers themselves. Save for maybe the stray beast, perhaps.
>And from the looks of it, it was located somewhere right near that suspicious little trail of smoke that was now rising up into the air from somewhere... 'that-a-way'. So now it was only a matter of whether or not these other two present groups would have the time to notice such a small thing, what with the presence of the giants and all.
>How convenient that all of these things happened to be so close together, eh? Yes, quite...
>>

>For how small they were built relative to either he or the typical Cybertronian drone, the supers appeared to have little trouble hefting tools of his scale in their arms, save the fact they usually needed both to do what he could with a pinkie and a thumb. A small pile of salvage was forming in a neat line by Grimlock's 6' o'clock.
"ALLIED PRESENCE DETECTED. DESIGNATION: STALKER TEAM."
>Old directives rattled on in one of the droids as it worked in response to the new presences in the area.
>>24305738
>For what the so-called scrap appeared to be, the various humanoid hulks laying in disarray less resembled the utilitarian walking machines the Marines knew, particularly in posture: their fallen forms appeared to be in a relaxed state, the way a corpse's muscles might lose all tension after recently expiring. Amidst this macabre field would be several neutral contacts detected by their sensory array...and, at least one friendly?

>To which the corporal leading them grumbled.
(MRN #1) Dunno. But don't touch them. At least not yet. Gotta investigate and secure the area first...
(MRN #5) Roger that.
>Unfortunately for said humble men, they didn't have motion trackers like the Chief nor did their M831 have one for that matter. HOWEVER, scans from the overhead UNSC Make Haste told them there WERE contacts in the area to confirm things. One of which was... friendly?
>The corporal frowned at the update he received over his HUD, but it did help him to decide what to do next.
(MRN #1) Alright, I want you...
>He'd gesture to Marine Five.

>He'd then point to Marines Two, Three, and Four.
I want you to check out that smoke signal out a ways. Think it's also the source of where that weird flying... noise was coming from. Report back every five minutes or sooner if you find anything. Got it?

Well.. you certainly don't lack sincerity..

>The green haired woman, now noticeably more relaxed, listened along to the marine's statements but offered no response of her own. Her eyes however were glued to the machine they'd rode in on. Curiosity carried her to the side of the warthog where she rested her hands along the edge of the drivers side frame, tracing the smooth steel with a ginger touch. Without further hesitation she peered inside, eyes wide with curiosity.
>She was absolutely invading the marine's space right now, though she seemed blissfully unaware of it, or simply unconcerned.

Oh.. It's really interesting what you have here. This must be a one of a kind irreplaceable treasure.
And you..
You must be important if this belongs to you.

"YOU, ROBOT. ENGAGE RALLY SIGNAL PROCEDURE."
>The egg-shaped automaton would take out the familiar block-shaped communicator of their parent unit, mashing onto its sparse buttons array to the sound of clicking.
"REMOTELY CONTACTING CLOSEST GENDARMERIE COMMAND. ETA THREE ARENO-CYCLES."
>Without the Space Bridge to drop people on demand, the closest humans were likewise the Giant's complement, hidden from the site of their scavenging operation under shallow earth some several kilometers away. It would take some time for a representative to be dug out and navigate to the rally.

>When the recon team did eventually make contact with these, er contacts, they would come upon sights both familiar and unfamiliar; chief among them, a towering hulk of yellow, carbon, and red resembling the copious fallen robots among them, appearing to be leading a squad of super battle droids painted in both schemes of time-faded blues and wild, aggressive red pallets more fitting of their CO, including STALKER-6! They all appeared locked into their task of collecting the possessions of the fallen, procuring guns so large they wouldn't had fit into the pintle of their Warthog scaled to the droids' current overseer.

>As for the handful of soldiers who would wander over to investigate that odd noise, however? They would have to go around one small bend in the scrap heap, then another, before they came across the source of the thin trail of black smoke drifting up into the air. As they approached, they heard a new noise echoing off the metal walls around them...
>But the really odd thing was, when they saw the source of the smoke and the noise, it wasn't some kind of fallen drone or any other logical thing that men such as themselves might expect.
>Instead, it was some sort of... big, blue box. It was lying on its side alongside a small 'hill' of scrap metal. A small door on the top-facing side was left hanging open, allowing the small trail of smoke to emerge into the open air. And it seemed to be the only thing within view that was made of wood.
>The second odd thing they would, lying face-up at the base of the 'hill', a nice drop's worth of distance away from the box... was a bloke in a brown suit.
>He didn't look particularly comfortable down there either.

(MRN #5) Holy shit...
(MRN #1) Mhm...

>If there were Decepticons and fights therein, the UNSC was as clueless as ever in dealing with them. But they were getting hints and clues at least and perhaps the newly named "Grimlock" could fill them in further, One offering the big guy a nod.
(MRN #1) Right, right. You know, you're not the only royalty we've dealt with here since coming to the Arena.
>Fairy Queen for one thing...
(MRN #1) But it's good to meet you your majesty.
>Marine Five meanwhile cracked an honest grin as the king laughed at his simple question.
(MRN #5) Thanks your highness, I'm here allllll day. But seriously, is that a death ray?
>A question that may or may not get an answer as the newly arrived friendly contacts called out to the duo. The lower ranked corporal noted the tracked chairs and different from the usual uniforms he knew better from briefings the men wore. Guy appeared higher ranked than a standard Runner at any rate even if their colors were the same, the NCO waving at the sargento.
(MRN #1) We didn't come here to fight exactly my good man.
>Again, diplomacy was key here. Although naturally, the UNSC *did* have weapons that could probably take on giant robots. They *did* have a light frigate in the sky nearby to rain down all sorts of Hell as needed if either party glanced upwards...

>>24306392
>The trooper frowned at the lack of immediate response, perhaps fearing something *was* wrong with the Doctor. And just as he was getting ready to call out again to him, the alien snapped to with a burst of techno-babble, one of the Marines chuckling a bit at the outburst.
(MRN #3) Gesundheit.
>Shaking his own head with a sigh, the man armed with a hefty ARC weapon gave the now focused Doctor a professional smile and a wave.
(MRN #2) Hello yourself. We didn't expect to meet you here of all places. But then again, from what we know of you, you *do* tend to get around. What brings you here if you don't mind me asking?

>Something Bad had gone down, that was for sure, bloody conflict evident as the now present Marines warily stood to at their various stations. The sergeant leading them gave the pair of girls a gruff grunt.
(MRN #1) See to it that you do, ladies.
>Especially when an alarm sounded across the base suddenly...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-K8qP1m_s4
>Snapping to it, the SNCO gave a nod at Winda and Rei.
(MRN #1) You might just be lucky enough to prove yourselves yet.
>Raising a hand to his helmet to key his boom mic, the sarge barked into his radio over the din.
(MRN #1) What's the situation? We're getting proximity alarms on our end, over!
>To which the Steady as She Goes's communications officer responded.
(COM OFC) Sensors on board indicate that seismic activity is increasing and actively heading your way.
(MRN #1) "Heading our way"? What the Hell does that mean ensign?
(COM OFC) From what our own sensor officer and Dumb AI can tell, it means you're about to have hostile company.
(MRN #1) Shit... Alright, we'll do what we can here, over and out.
>Using his mic once more, the sergeant keyed the LOCAL UNITS that were at the base.
(MRN #1) Alright people, look sharp! We've got hostiles coming our way!
>The various Marines would then scramble to get into defensive positions on the elevated wall that made up Outpost Whiskey, various guns being pointed out along the dusty desert with a pair of .50 caliber machinguns to back them up.
>The SNCO then focused on Adachi and Winda, looking them over with a harsh eye.
(MRN #1) I'll be blunt, I don't fancy having civilians around and I think you should sit this out.
>But...?
(MRN #1) But if you have the capabilities to assist us now, this would be the time. Use whatever magic or hidden lasers you've got or if you have the training for it, we've scavenged some weapons from the former garrison here.

>Parking at the base of their position with his assistant in close concert, the guard officer dismounted with an unidentified model of carbine in hand, one that appeared kinetic in nature as opposed to their typical blasters. It bore a boxy cover, painted in an arctic camouflage pattern.
>And if said man were in a more cynical mood, he'd call the recons bait for a Decepticon ambush waiting in the rust, but kept his tongue steady and smooth as he spoke in a manner more confident in its grasp of the common tongue than what was typical of their stock.
"Sergeant Moise Holédai of the Sovereigns' Motorized Gendarme, Acting Commander of Maintenance at your service! His Majesty over there must had called us 'cause you're sticking your noses in his business?"

>Not much frankly, especially the brass-melting qualities of a Null Ray, the troopers honestly suspecting they had *almost* bit off more than they could chew here. But at the very least, it was paying off so far, One nodding at SNCO.
(MRN #1) Good to meet you sergeant. And you'd be right about that. There's other units about but we're trying to figure out what's going on here with ah, "Grimlock" and his scavenging crew.

>The Doctor stared back up at the lads for a good minute. When he was waked what brought him 'here', he looked around at their arid, rocky surroundings that were broken apart by heaping mounds of decaying metal.
*Weeell*...
>The word came out low and throaty as he slowly looked around.
That's quite a good question, actually...
>Then, with a start, he whipped back up to his feet and spun around, facing the marines while both of his hands sprang up to his own face.
Hm. Still me. No strong feelings about my shoes either. That's good. Better than last time I woke up like this...
>His mutterings came and went just as fast. He looked up at the marines again, and smiled a wide smile at them.
Tell me, chaps! You haven't happened to notice anything weird with the sky lately, have you? Nothing that looks out of the ordinary? *Well*, more out of the ordinary than... ordanarily.
>But then came that echoing thrum of noise, like some great bell a vast distance away. The sound warbled out from the blue box again. His head snapped to face it, and his face fell like he had just witnessed some horrible car crash.
Oh! Blimey, look at you-!
>And just like that, he was off climbing up the rocks and scrap, frantically trying to get over to the overturned blue box... thing.
>Did these blokes even still need to be here? Because this guy could hardly keep his focus on one thing for a minute!

You hear that Gulldo? She thinks you're cute! Haha.
>Gulldo, chirped twice in response before hopping back to Winda's shoulder with a few flaps of his wings. He settles in again, this time more alert, eyes darting between objects and people instinctively.
I'm sure he appreciates it, but you won't charm him off my shoulder.
>And then came the alarms.

>>24306448
Huh?! Are we fighting now..?
>Winda looks around at the sudden burst of activity, Gulldo lifting off into the sky to circle above. She seeks to find her place in the ensuing chaos but freezes. For a moment, shock grounds her to where she stands.
I.. wait.. which way..?
>Without direction, instinct nudge her toward the walls of the compound. That was a good starting point atleast.
Tailwind!
>Winda swept her staff forward, a powerful burst of air enveloping her. She shot upward, cloak snapping at the sudden force. It wasn't as graceful as true flight, but it wasn't a reckless haphazard launch either. The surge carried her like a jump that left her landing in a controlled descent on the inner platform of the wall.
>She steadies herself, then peers over the perimeter defenses, trying to get a better read on what was unfolding beyond the base.

That particular mountain of metal you're addressing at the other side of the hill is our best bet against the Decepticon menace; a bona-fide rebel from their ranks whose been fighting them for longer than we've known the wheel—and, if you believe what they say happened in a church under the purview of our local bishop... divinely-ordained for the rulership of his own kingdom! Staunch ally of the Sovereignty.
>Steadily, he was making his way to see what the Marines were seeing presiding the scavenging operation below, giving them a view of his pale olive skin poking out from a blackish array of facial hair that began showing signs of whitening around their edges. Copious stains of dark grease had grayed the once-white cuffs of his uniform.
For now, he lets me tag along... to oversee things. Things like this. Were you looking to find a sitrep to bring back to your boss, an exchange of technical knowledge, or a history lesson?

>The awkward silence permeated the air, the Maines left shuffling in their bulky OD green armors as they awaited a reply. Of which when one finally DID come, more than one man raised a brow at the sheer quirkiness of the guy, Two shrugging his shoulders at his odd question.
(MRN #2) The sky? Well, it IS a bit overcast I guess. But that seems fairly ordinary to me. Is there something you know that we don't?
>Whether that particular question would get an answer or not remained to be seen, that weird humming noise drawing all of the mens attention to it, the Doctor quickly making for his still overturned TARDIS.
>Naturally, the troopers made to follow behind him as best they could over the uneven scraps.

(MRN #1) I wouldn't call him that, but I guess it fits well enough.
>The last thing the Marine(s) and current ranking representative wanted to do was insult a sovereign leader. Five in particular whistled at that lore bit.

We're placing our efforts getting strategically-important services back online before the next incursion on our collective holdings! (MRN #10) Easy trooper, she's with us. And I'm sure she'll do good.
>Trooper Ten gave Winda an encouraging smile as he readied his ARC-920, the railgun being held steady even as the ground kept shaking...
>Back with the SNCO, the grizzled leatherneck gave Rei a curt nod.
(MRN #1) Right, show us instead of telling us and I'll believe you. You can start by grabbing a "Morita" over there.
>Of which there were over a dozen of the bullpup assault rifles ready to be grabbed by the enterprising and adventurous robot. Along with that there were plenty of magazines for its main gun and spare 12 gauge shotgun shells for its under barreled gun.
>With that said, the nameless leader nodded as he began to run forward towards the wall to join his men in the coming fight! Peering down at the ground with his BR85HB Battle Rifle, the man growled as he saw fissures form and widen as somethings began to emerge.

>The news that the Blues were in dire straits didn't sit well with the trooper, the man frowning as he offered the sergeant a sympathetic look.
(MRN #1) It goes without saying then but I hope you boys succeed in that effort. If you guys need help...
>He couldn't exactly make that kind of command level decision of course, but the corporal could pass it along to his superiors and help get the ball rolling. Then again, they still had to help these guys in other ways that had yet to be done...
>Moving on to hopefully better news, the Marine non-com gave the sargento a nod.
(MRN #1) Alright. Well first off, we've been reinforced recently. Nearly a dozen and various UNSC warships pulled into the Arena a few weeks ago with thousands of our guys and a mess of vehicles to back us up. And our newest and now highest ranking leader, Admiral Stepanov, wants to meet with your leaders to discuss things going forward.
>He'd look at the sergeant before whispering to him.
(MRN #1) Admiral's made a point of wanting to deal with actual authorities this time around instead of the "mere" lieutenants that some of our guys have been dealing with. No offense.
>Five would then pipe up as well.
(MRN #5) We've got other allies who can potentially help as well like Super Earth or or or the World Government!
>The mention of the latter got a grunt from the corporal.
(MRN #1) We haven't heard much from them recently unfortunately.

>The Doctor, once he reached the tail-end of the sideways box, jumped and pulled himself up onto the side of the structure, straddling up onto the lip of what was supposed to be the bottom of the box. He peered down inside, waving the smoke out of his face, and frowned anxiously.
Ohhh, I'm sorry...
>He kept that look as he looked up, squinting at the sky. What was that, sunset? Sunrise? He couldn't quite tell.
>When he looked back down at the Marine, he regained some composure. Enough to frown at least.
You there, what's your name? Are you sure there hasn't been anything strange going on down here? No... earthquakes, or unnatural weather phenomenon in the past few days, weeks maybe? No earth-shaking catastrophes of any kind...?

>Though a simple sergeant on paper, Holédai was technically in charge of overseeing strategic-level assets for his policy... Which spoke dire things of the state of the Gendarmes, just as the fact they didn't seem to have a higher-ranking CO than lieutenant in order. Whatever mechanism that governed field promotions was either non-existent, or effectively paralyzed.

Edward Carlisle!
>The Doctor repeats, practically shouting it as he reaches into the jacket of his brown suit.
Brilliant name, Edward! I've met a few of you Ed's in my time, actually! Like Edward Tavers! Brilliant man, brilliant professor! And even more brilliant an explorer! He helped me ward off some nasty yeti's in Tibet once!
>As he pulled the sonic screwdriver from his jacket, he paused, staring blankly ahead for a split-second.
Mm. Probably shouldn't have said that. Sounds weird now that I've said it out loud...
>Then, just as quick, he pointed the screwdriver down into the box and held down the 'trigger', causing a wave of warbling sound to ring out. It might bother some of the marine's equipment a bit...
>But after a minute, he stopped. And with him, so did that strange, ominous ringing that had drawn them in to begin with.
There you are, girl. Nothing to worry about. I should hope...
>The Doctor swung his leg back 'round and hopped down from the box, and he began waving the little device in his hand around at random, even pointing it at the men standing around him for a moment before stopping again.
Either way, are you sure? Because there's something--
>He inhaled sharply.
Off. Something--
>Again.
Different. Wrong. New. I can't decide on a word. And, regardless of words-
>The Doctor lurched forward toward Edward, his expression becoming gravely serious as his voice fell to what almost sounded like a stage whisper.
That sound you heard? That was the cloister bell. She only makes that sound when she's a hair's breadth away from immediate destruction. Closing time corridors, alien intruders, the destruction of the entire universe, even. That's the sound of fear, Lance corporal...

>What they lacked in quantity... They had a cybernetic metal dinosaur-giant. And a wormhole generator.
Someone has to bell the cat in this place for those on the other side, yet can't help wonder if trying to station a large standing force is the way to go...though, we'd appreciate it if you could give a statement on the refugee situation back in Ireland - the Ireland where the a-bombs hit. Appreciate it even more if you could give a hand in coordinating refugee relief, and eventual reunion: until we have some way to alleviate that, our hands are effectively tied beyond the scale you witness. On that tangent, we need a way to reach out to men willing to act beyond themselves and help fill out our roster: I know there's more settlements out there that either lost contact with our Sovereigns or have arisen from Shanghai'd souls managing to eke out a meager living. >Poor Edward flinched at the eager outburst, the Marine nodding slowly and pausing at the casual mention of the Doctor and this professor fighting fucking yetis once upon a time.
(CPL CAR) Alright that was a bit out of pocket, but that's cool.
(MRN #4) Yetis? Are you for real right now man?
(MRN #3) Dude, fairies and giant robots are apparently real along with animal people. Yetis aren't that out of left field.
>Four would concede with a nod and a grunt at that, the men going back to watching the Doctor wave what intel had identified as one "Sonic Screwdriver" based on what the Master Chief had previously dealt with long ago. The strange flickering on their various Heads-Up Displays and even digital readouts on their rifles was likewise noticed. The lance corporal frowned in particular as he shook his ARC, it eventually going back to normal when then it ceased. And then the eccentric Doctor rounded on them with a dire warning about a "cloister bell", a couple troopers getting nervous at the apparent imminent danger they *might* be in.
(MRN #3) Uh, that sounds pretty bad guys...
>The corporal shook his head, trying to steel himself with whatever confidence he could muster in front of his men and this alien.

>He'd flinch again at the "friendly" arm slap, his armor taking the "hit" well enough as Carlisle grunted in turn.

>The UNSC had quantity AND quality then! Railguns, space-age fighters, lasers, nukes, sharp stick and a rock and more! And capable men and women ready to use them to the best of their abilities!
>But it seemed as if the Gendarmes and this sergeant in particular needed a "finer" touch instead of just hammering everything in sight, the corporal nodding along.
(MRN #1) As far as I can tell, Ireland's still trying to recover from what happened. But now that we have a proper carrier here with us and a bunch of equipment with it, we can maybe enact terraforming operations if the government's okay with that. Then we can maybe return those refugees back home from there.
>On the subject of recruitment, the humble boot adopted a more thoughtful expression.
(MRN #1) Hmmm, tricky, but doable I think. We've been meaning to clean up Fiend-occupied territory near our Dawnbreaker base. Maybe if we can convince some of them to surrender, we can funnel them your way for ah, "rehabilitation"?

>The Doctor looked back towards the marines, then looked beyond them, trying to look past the piles of metal that surrounded them. He gave it a moment's thought... then shook his head.
Naaah. We're old mates, me and him! We go back ages! Lifetimes, even!
>At least for him...
I'm pretty sure he wouldn't actually try to eat me, regardless. Mostly sure.
> That's always comforting to hear, isn't it?
But no. I'm certain of it. It takes something with some extra kick to knock me off course like that. Especially without warning. Even out here, vortex corridors don't just... *snap* like that. No, something is definitely... different...
>The Doctor seemed to struggle with the thought. He wasn't sure what to make of it, whatever 'it' actually was, and that fact alone was bugging him more than he'd like to admit.
... How *are* those reinforcements treating you?
>He suddenly asked out of the blue as he looked back at the Marines.
The more like-minded people, the better, right? Before you know it, you'll be out here, building your own encampments and setting up tax policies and all that other good government stuff you lot love so much.
>... He doesn't seem nearly as surprised at the mention of 'reinforcements' as one would expect. Or at least not particularly curious.

>The offer to send the Fiends their way would immediately cause the sergeant's hands to bundle into knives, followed by contortions upon his face that barely held back something altogether more vulgar.
We do not have the facilities needed to treat their... Situation acquired from substance abuse, not since losing control of the hills. And frankly, I don't think our Sovereigns would accept their service given what they've done to the people we see to be our charges. Instead of turning a new leaf out on these greener pastures...
If you'd ask me, they are are little better than the masses of aggressive mutes which plague the skirmishing fields.
>Though he had to wonder how, or who was supplying them with a consistent enough supply of drugs to keep a gang-wide supply. His mind would briefly wander to disturbing places before it was drawn back to their surroundings.
I gave you the short and stout of his Majesty... Though, he's got a neat party trick where he can tuck his limbs into his body and take the shape of a dinosaur, something he picked up on Earth. Does it together with a team of three others, called themselves the Dinobots - that's what he calls his kingdom as well. We haven't seen the other three since his last mission... Dare not raise the subject.
>Focusing back upon the fallen Decepticons' tool in their midst >>24306319, Holédai stroked the underpinnings of his beard.
Null Ray; standard complement of Decepticon Air Warriors, typically in pairs. Enough thermal energy to instantly roast a turkey, but their main use is to disable electronics; no amount of hardening that we know of seems to work, the best defense against them seems to be mass and redundancy. A nice find, cara - they're one of our surefire ways to stop our enemies dead in their tracks!
>And their port base could use one for a rainy day. By fiddling with his communicator, the sergeant would set the egg pawn to set the super battle droids to begin prioritizing it for their salvage!

(CPL CAR) Huh, fancy that you know him.
>The casual mention however of the robot dinosaur eating him threw the troopers for a loop.
(MRN #4) That's some friendship you have there then Doc. Like damn.
>Thus the idea of maybe bringing them together would be held off for now then.
>Getting back to another pressing issue at hand, it sounded fairly concerning to the humble leathernecks.
(CPL CAR) This sounds like something worth looking into for sure. But uh, this is outside of our area of expertise as you can probably guess.
(MRN #3) Not to sound like too much of a caveman here, but we're paid to mostly shoot stuff.
>Speaking of which, then came the matter of UNSC reinforcements, Edward nodding along.
(CPL CAR) Pretty damn good actually. It's nice to have some actual backup nowadays. Not that we couldn't accomplish stuff previously but now we have more options, you feel me?
>The more the merrier indeed. Especially when they had friends to show this stuff off to!
(MRN #3) Speaking of encampments, we do have a base way out West if you ever want to drop by.
(MRN #4) Yeah, just make sure you don't crash or anything!

>Well, there went *that* idea, the corporal holding up a placating hand towards the agitated sergeant.
(MRN #1) Yeah, I don't blame you. But I sort of had to shoot the idea your way anyway. Guess that'll simplify things at least.
>Limited intel gathered by ONI suggested that one Moto-Runner might know more about where they were getting their supply. But where the Fiend leader was remained a mystery to the alphabet organization. But given time and effort, they were sure to sus out where that bastard was getting him and his ne'er-do-wells chem fixes.
>The info dump on Grimlock was more welcomed by the NCO, a knowing nod being given at how the "Dinobot" king might've lost his own...
(MRN #1) Yeah, that does sound handy.
>Even handier still was the elaboration on the "death ray", the corporal raising a brow at its description.
(MRN #1) So, a "handheld" EMP weapon? Sounds impressive. We could damn well use those in our inventory.
>Being able to take out Imperium ships shields as a possibility (with some upscaling) sounded like a Godsend. The UNSC already had a similar technology with their XRP12s, better known as the Gremlin. But again, new tech was always welcome.

>Also I'm going to have to call it here for now unfortunately. If you guys want, we can pick this up another time soon!
>>
>>24306797
>I was going to try and wrap it up really quick there, considering the time...
>But maybe instead we can do something with it later, where I try to force in MY plot idea further by having Sandshoes go and bother some other UNSC guys higher up the ladder?
>Guess we can figure it out later. Either or, g'night brah.
>Nice that I was able to start breaking ground on the /bant/rp too...

>I'm down with that Big Plot stuff you've got in mind. No shortage of captains to poke and all. There IS a frigate nearby that he can fly up to for one thing.
>But yeah another time for sure. Appreciate playing with and helping you cut your teeth here!

Not sure; EMP hardening isn't much use against it as far as we have tested. At least, 21st-century hardening.
>Beyond that, the guards haven't had much means to test what they did, and didn't work on, having to largely confine them to static batteries in their strongholds!
If it's human-made, there isn't much they can't stop in a single shot, and those 'Cons usually pack enough shots in them to take on a squadron.
>Like those mercenaries they've been tangling with.
Though, they require a proprietary fuel to work; keeps non-Cons without their infrastructure from turning them the opposite side for long.

6/7s of the letters in her name are shared with the Gamer Word! And most of those are in the exact order so it wasn't like I was grasping at straws

Oh damn you really did make the jump. I hadn't seen you in a hot minute and I figured you'd either left the threads entirely or were waiting for activity to resume on /trash/. Nice to see ya
