I get the feeling that it's not really workable to have stuff take such a long time, and I agree it's not acceptable for some people. I do think she wants to have them mean something and be nice and personalized and stuff, and that clashes with how busy she is, and how she gets in a whole assembly line type hyperfocus mode to do them instead of just a bit here and there. Of course, at a certain point months ago just pounding them out and being more generic would be more favorable for some. She'll have them done before she goes though i'm confident. Truth be told the people who bought the most (Eveener and myself I think?) don't really care that much and know they'll get done. More lenient on extreme procrastinators I guess :D
