Regarding, /wsg/, here is what the board looks like to my eyes. The board hasn't change much over the years other than hiding more threads over time. Just about the same as when I was browsing it at school.

I almost never read the thread. The file:comment ratio is a very good indication of a threads overall value and quality. Maybe I miss funny /bant/er or cool information, but I am a much happier person by 1% because of it.
