Some of them tend to be frighteningly smart and naturally gravitate towards indoor activities to cope with feelings of exile and alienation. We all wish we got a character select screen, but that's not reality is for the most part. Just strange paraphilias I guess. Like how some people will pay good money to get pissed, humiliated and stolen from. It's not logic, just taboo desires and way of life that might be at odds with society.
