7 years ago I watched a bunch of maniacs oversubscribe to 100 ETH presale pools. I watched animechan post a pool and say "don't put too much ETH in so anons can share it fairly" and seconds later an anon put in 150 ETH and filled the whole pool.
I remember having 7 ETH in two wallets to try and get into the ICO twice, but I only got one wallet in. 7 ETH for 18,200 LINK.
I remember buying on EtherDelta when you had to try and manually click on existing orders, which was next to impossible when there was any amount of volume. It was the most godawful UX in the history of DEXes.

We've come so fucking far, bros, it's truly an honor to be here with anyone that's left, after the shit we've been through. LINK "marines" turned out to be pretty accurate, considering how many of us have military-grade PTSD.
I love you, bros. We're all gonna make it.

Maybe not but in Sergey's latest video and the product update they say that the first institutions will come online this year. And then Indian Sergey said that 25-26 will be parabolic adoption.
There's no way around the fact we're coming to the end of the beginning. Finally.

it will happen within the timespan of 2024-2026

also BUILD drops incoming
>We are also actively focused on deploying a system that will enable BUILD projects to make their tokens claimable by participants in the Chainlink ecosystem, including stakers. We expect to share more details in the near future on how the BUILD claims mechanism is being built.

Link to thread?

I’ve been holding so long that I’m just tired at this point. I don’t really believe in web3 anymore (beyond it just being a way to create more BS money out of thin air).

Glad you asked, the short answer is that there are no reasons to use CCIP. This is all just kabuki and the unique security needs of large financial institutions are identical to the security needs of startups funded by venture capital.
>>
>>58427860
When a blockchain developer releases an App on Arbitrum and on Optimism and on Base, the developer is deploying on each chain the same contract and software. But they are completely siloed from one another. So when they need to update, they update all 3 versions. If it's a trading app, each of the three have their own liquidity pool and users. With CCIP, you can create one seamless app that users can access from each of the three chains. This currently isn't possible before CCIP. We merely had bridges where you send tokens from one chain to another. CCIP allows you to abstract away the bridges.

Makes sense?
>>
>>58427938
The problem in terms of pumping the price is the small group of whales that currently milk as much liquidity out of retail as possible didn’t really need crosschain functionality to do this. However, this is also what opens up crypto’s tiny pond to the financial ocean. End result, crypto whales/devs/insiders no longer get free 10x’s whenever they want, but link holders will probably see a 100x within the next 2-4 years, and 1000x+ by 2035.
>>
>>58427607
Unlimited scalability should be achievable now.
>Chainlink tracks L2 fees
>Fees for the chain your on gets too high
>CCIP automatically moves you to a cheaper L2
You wont know which L2 your funds are on. This will also standardize fees among L2s
>>
>>58427970
I forgot about the L2 angle. So maybe before true adoption there is one more degenerate casino run, except this time link is the universal gas token, not eth/bnb/sol etc.
>>
>>58427938
yeah there definitely doesn't exist, right this second, a smart contract that can transact BTC and ETH
spread more bullshit linkfaggot
>>
janny tranny ban me yet?
>>
>>58427990
CCIP solves the L2 interoperability problem where everyone has their own chain since it's more efficient than trying to do all the transactions on ETH. It's a really big deal but will take time before we see the effects. Developers have to integrate and test the tech and that's not a month's job. More like several months worth.
