I'm considering selling some of my gold to invest into 2 biotech stocks that I believe could easily 5-10x within the next 6-8 months. I have an appointment this week with the gold dealer but I'm honestly kind of on the fence. I've spent a lot of time researching the 2 companies I want to invest in and the gold I am selling is not my bullion but rather 22 karat jewellery (about $20,000) that I will never have a real use for (inherited it). The spiritual ugliness of PM freaks is on full display right now. They bought their shiny rocks and underperformed every other asset for decades. Now that they're finally getting an itty bitty pity pump, look how their behavior changes. They should be happy and celebrating in the thread they have that is designated for precious metals. Instead they are lashing out at the rest of the board, spamming, flooding, raiding, sliding, trying to auschwitz everyone else into their own little internment camp of a thread so the metalchuds can own the rest. And that's them being HAPPY. That's them on a good day. That's how ugly they are on the inside. Imagine how mean they'll get when metals eventually meaningfully retrace. It honestly might make sense to ban discussion of PMs from /biz/, not because they aren't business and finance related but because the metal chuds have clearly shown that they have no desire to live harmoniously with the rest of us. They can go make a general on /trash/ and live there alongside the furry ai and futa

If that were the case, it wouldn't be a rumor. It would be a report from a credible source. Such a guy would likely lose his job for violating his NDA.

Eric Yeung often shares rumors from "unnamed" sources precisely because if a person in an official position to know said something publicly, they would be occupationally decapitated.

By all means, do NOT short UBS or make any major financial bets based on this information. It is what it is, no more and no less.

It remains an undisputed fact however, that twitter is now a primary source of information that the various establishments do not wish to publicize.

Okay, how is this going to compare to the last time? If we compare it to the 1980 high and adjust for inflation, were not even halfway there.
Also if I understand this correctly, last time this was an outsider trying to fuck with the system and they got jewish calvinballed.
This time we don't know who it is yet or if it even happened yet.
My point is, last time we got an ath due to a call on the fake paper that they (((fixed))).

Define "source" and perhaps we can agree. Media often makes reports based on "anonymous" sources.

There are two layers of information in this tweet:
1. An unnamed "systematically important bank" is in trouble due to margin calls arising form their silver market positions.

2. Rumor has it that the unnamed bank is UBS.

I take no stand on the veracity of this information, but it is specifically relevant to /pmg/. It is also plausible, and infact logically expected. I've made numerous posts openly predicting that the Federal Reserve would bail out any bullion bank that found it's nuts in a vise over their major silver short positions.

Privatize profits and socialize losses. Perhaps the "source" of this rumor is the AIsian guy himself, whom some of us speculate is a Chinese (CCP) funded operation.

APMEX, Scottsdale, and Monument Metals here. Lately I have lost interest in APMEX especially after the bullshit they pulled being $2 above spot on a Sunday. They didn't ship a coin with the rest of my order. They fixed it, but shit like that shouldn't happen with a big company like them. They also sent me what was supposed to be a BU coin and it was not BU.

Monument has the best prices. Scottsdale has some nice unique coins that are nice and count as bullion.

Their bankers are the same "stock" as America's, i.e. they play for the same Remphanic team. It's fun saying that but a lot of this is good normal price action. Have you zoomed out on the chart? If we can chop around and make some footholds of support around here then we can move on to higher prices in a more sustainable fashion. Going straight up just means it will go straight back down.
It would have been nice if silver slowly went up 25% a year and had a nicer chart like gold but the jews suppressed it and we have to work with what we've got now.

The price for physical silver can be expected to disconnect from the paper price. If the reports that Samsung needs 50 million ounces for the next two quarters for their production, and COMEX reportedly offered them only 5 million oz.

Samsung will have to go outside the COMEX and pay a stiff premium to get their needed silver. Tesla also needs tens of millions of oz. COMEX is on it's last legs.

If you can't get physical silver from COMEX, it become completely useless as an institution. Just a bunch of jews playing paper games.

The paper market and the silver spot price isn't real.

It's not over. If this image is accurate, it's merely Trump admitting the rationale for gold and silver being suppressed for decades. Jews hate gold and silver because they can't print unlimted amounts like they can with paper.

Gold and silver are the enemies of central bank fiat, which is the jews only real superpower. Trump is a self admitted servant of the jews.

This.

But let me point out: gold is the real play here. Gold and only gold. Not silver, not any other commodity.

The question you should be asking is: in a fragmenting global economic regime, where countries/economic blocks are seeking independence from the dollar, what are they stockpiling to replace it? Silver? No, gold.

Silver and all other commodities are only noise. Gold is the real deal. You won't see meme spikes, only a steady price increase that chokes off the dollar.

COMEX, by raising the margins, jumped out of the frying pan, and into the fire. They forced out the paper speculators, and opened the gates to the Chinese physical buyers who can pay 100% cash.

This only puts COMEX in an even worse physical short squeeze.

For pure stuff, I've had a good experience with Noguchi Coin. They offer cash on delivery (apparently there's technically no upper limit) and sell pretty much any well recognized pure silver/gold coin as well as bars.

For old European coins, I'm just ordering from wherever I can find them online from overseas websites. Have to pay a 10% import tax, but I love these things so much, it's worth it.

ok, thanks! From what little I've learned so far, the older 1 yen coins from the meiji/taisho era seem to be relatively close to melt value and easy to authenticate. Apparently older chinese silver coins are (unsurprisingly) faked a lot.

So how big will the dump be when NYSE opens? Or was the AI chinaman right and they will just keep it at 75$?

According to Ed Steer, SLV shorts are in big trouble. Not enough available physical silver to cover.

Personally, I hope they dump it to $30. In reality, silver is more likely to go up on Monday open, and will close closer to $80 than to $75.

We already have our stack, but I want some of the younger guys to get a fair chance to build a nice stack before things go completely to shit.

>If you can't get physical silver from COMEX, it become completely useless as an institution
Wasn’t there a tweet of some richfag who got like 800m oz delivered to him from comex though?

who cares about SLV
>>

could dump a little bit lower but i think all major players already shifted trading desks for quick tampering. At the end of the day there most likely will be a pump.

Says sterling twice, silver and 950, math doesn't add up get it checked out fast to confirm it's metal purity and potentially refund the make up tray.

so they are gonna froze the price in a big announcement on Jan, returning the max. amount of silver they can every single day. Keeping the price here and real silver blasting to 100.
right?

You just post it back idk

I don't know how it will effect SLV, but the physical market goes up if they need to buy physical silver to replace those "borrowed" SLV ounces that were used as shorts.

Have you considered antique markets and flea market hunting for your investment purposes? Sometimes you can find silly deals on tokens and medals at those places.

David Bateman, and they tried to spread it out over 6 months, but he put his foot down and it only took 3 months. He bought $400 million in silver + $400 millon in gold. But that was last January (2024?) back when COMEX still had enough silver. Bateman only bought 12 million oz of silver, and COMEX tried to spread it out over 6 months.

Fun fact: According to Vince Lanci, who used to work at COMEX, their freight elevator can only load out about 3 million ounces per day.
