>June 19 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said he might have viewed artificial intelligence company Anthropic as a national security threat last week, but he no longer does, according to an interview with "The Axios Show" published on Friday.

>Senior Anthropic technical staff were scheduled to meet with Trump administration officials earlier this week to discuss a dispute over foreign access to its most advanced AI models, Fable 5 and Mythos 5. The company last week disabled access for all users to those models after Trump ordered Anthropic to block foreign nationals from accessing them.

sounds like those emergency staff anthropic deployed also came with cash gifts to smooth things over

Its crazier anyone, particularly the market thought the deal would last especially given Israeli seething and past behavior. America can act tough but they welched the deal and don't have the balls to deal with Israel. Occupation of Lebanon is classic breach of contract no matter how much Trump spergs about it. The tiny vibrations we've gotten as far as corrections are nothing, fed is turbo fucked, inflation will demand raising rates but they won't. We would see a series of market corrections even if we had ended the war friday. Monday should be interesting given repeated unsubstantiated optimism has been priced in and corrective behavior for 20% of energy being cut off has been bypassed infavor of SPRs and futures manipulation just so everyone can pretend the situation is fine.

>How come gas prices have risen in countries that don't use the oil that comes from the gulf states?
Its a global market and the prices depend on crude quality/type and if its produced locally, piped in, or shipped in. There are all sorts of special deals to be made off the books, so the public price is not the real price for big or favored, or punished, buyers.
>>
Do closed straits mean red Monday?
>>
>>62391608
there are a couple of issues
one is international demand for our crude going up since other crude is less accessible
the second is that refineries are designed to take specific inputs and produce specific outputs. So you can't just pump sweet permian crude through a prebuilt refinery, or sour high sulfur south american crude unless the refinery itself has been built to those specifications. It might need a mixture

Its is objectively true, anyone can see that. No one listens to Trump's retarded comments. There is also a lot of false information about production. Many countries say they are cutting back hoping prices go up, but they actually produce more to cash in. If the US produced 7m barrels per day and exports 1m per day, they dont tell you the US imported another 3m for processing and of that 3m they keep 2m for payment and export the 1m back to the country the supplied it in lieu of cash payments. All sorts of gimmicks. Russia and Iran have off the books sales going all the time for special discounts.

Its been a big week for ziggers.
A bunch of deals between ASEAN which seems to be driffting into their orbit with the Russoids/central Asia former soviets d ties increasing bigly with Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, etc etc.

China has been pretty quiet in spite of our usual wumao crew, they have been working on ties to Bangladesh and Suriname (big oil project under way) this week.

ziggers probably biting off a good bit more than they can chew being so aggressive while we're distracted and with china playing conservatively, but its more progress towards multipolarity

we're in the worst gaming drought in history, with 45% of devs laid off in the past 24 months and not a single worthwhile 9/10 since the Elden Ring DLC following 4 publishers buying up every studio in existence to form a cartel.

/v/ is basically dead.
GTA is the only hoped for game in existence, and its been delayed 4 times. No game delayed by 6months+ has ever released to popular acclaim, and the comedians who worked on the other games radio stations described it as wokesloppa, which is probably why they're rebuilding it.

I sold my DRAM to diversify a bit more. I still have a little bit of exposure to Korean shit but I feel a lot more at peace knowing that I'm not heavily concentrated in one small market. Same with Micron. If they tank after their earnings announcement, hopefully I shouldn't be too badly impacted.

Less explosive green when DRAM's holdings do well but less painful reds when they start to dump. Seeing everything having gone vertical over the past 1-2 months feels concerning. If I had gotten in before everything exploded, I'd probably hold most of these positions for a long time but I was too late to the party.

I dont really pay attention to that, most of these guys only talk about their winners. I think he picks them early when they are really volatile and picked up INFQ, XNDU, and MXL, I do not remember if I got all the tickers from his channel but these are all over the place up and down like 20% or more per week. When ever I take some time off from the casino I am late getting back into the new thing and miss the early 5x. So I picked up some smaller positions, better late than never. Even if AI/Data Centers stall out or pull back hard the rush is still space and quantum so I am moving more into those. If boring bull is too slow just watch at 2x speed, or skip to the list of tickers in the vids make a list and do your own study at your own time.
INfQ is just quantum, but XNDU is photonic quantum pure play. No one knows yet which is going to hit big so I spread out a bit to cover the range.

Not wanting to miss out more on quantum I wanted some riskier tickers so picked the ones mentioned above, but also now thinking of getting back into RGTI and QBTS, but IONQ does look like it might be the better choice than RGTI.

It sucks, I don’t make enough to have swaths of money left over to invest in these tickers or slurp dips but that could change come fall when I get a job paying 120+ annually including OT. Except if everything pumps by then and I miss out.

everything is going to be ok babe. the strait is open for all intents and purposes, despite what they're saying, they're done fighting over there and they are gonna talk it out from now on. and even if they raise rates, which they won't, that will just open up the yen carry trade more and softbank will dump more money into our market. there's a boom going on in hardware and everything adjacent to that, and it will start spilling over into the consumer economy soon. life is good for investors, never been better.

For more detailed questions try reddit, yes reddit/options or /optionsmillionaires there seem to be a lot of options types. /options has 'safe space' for rally basic questions and they take a day or two to get back to you with a nice answer, or just post your question on /options if you dont care about a smartass comment or two.

create enough scarcity, demand goes down.
its already happening with consumer electronics (no, not the ones you're thinking about). new WiFi routers, controllers, televisions, etc are shipping with half the memory they used to have. OEMs are cutting down on software features and cutting corners on maintainability (i.e. harder to update than ever before) to keep prices down.

Maybe you could not overtrade the chadliest market trend in the history of market trends and just hold on until the ride's over. You think you'll be clever but look at any dip in mu for the past year you care to look at and observe the shallowness and the briefness of the dip. You're going to lose all your hair trying to time your meager-ass swing trades and probably fuck up and have to buy higher while you could just spot hold to valhalla for the next 2-3 years requiring zero effort and delivering 500%+ returns (or even more if you responsibly buy and keep rolling modestly otm leaps)

You're prolly right. I do feel like the AI trade is somewhat near the top, could run another year or two though. Doubt anything will 500x from here.

If memory is red for even one month my entire port is fooked
>>
>>62392083
The memory in consumer electronics broadly speaking is not even the same class of memory as the hdram going into data center racks, so that doesn't really compute. The only thing restraining demand for memory is whether an agent, running on a server rack somewhere, can produce >$1 of econonic value for $1 of compute used to run it. Sure, it's possible in the ultra near term (next few months) if hardware prices spike 10x it will become uneconomic to run agents, and demand will fall. But observe how fast frontier models are getting distilled and quantized into models that are 95% as good but use 1/10th the tokens. So suddenly even at 10x prices the math still makes sense again to spin up $1000000 worth of agents so long as they return $1000001 or greater of value to the person running them. Jevons paradox strongly applies here. And memory/context window depth is what unlocks new paradigms of usefulness for agents, eg allowing them to leap from entry level workers to supervisors to project managers to ceos. CPUs, GPUs, power modules, none of them have this feature. Increase CPUs by 10x you have 10x as many agents. Big woop. Increase memory by 10x you now have agents that can do entirely new kinds of work. Massive unlock.

Memory is basically what bitcoin was supposed to be. Something scarce, with inherent worth, and backed by infinite demand.

Gotta say, I'm slowly starting to sympathize with the elites, even if all the problems are caused by them.
The average normalfag is so emotional, short sighted, and literally cattle-minded (herd behavior, unable to think for themselves, unwilling to take action).

Like I helped out at a convenience store that is now closing and the owner didn't have enough cash to run his business. He can't keep products in stock and resorted to buying shit from gas stations since he can't get vendor pricing and the kicker is that he had like $166,000 in flowthrough cash in a year, and DIDNT put it in a 1-2% cashback card. That's roughly $2,500 per year that he COULD have put into actually stocking his fucking shelves. Some people just don't think

They aren't going to lose there sphere of influence even for the sake of a deal in their favor. They know how unpopular the war and Israel have become. America is already low munitions and needs what's left for saber rattling with China. After watching Trump do multiple 180s in the span of 72 hours and seeing analysts say they are worried about his health given he's angered his greatest "ally", exploiting this rift is in Iran's best interest. They could make dealings with Israel political poison for years. A few more bombs is not much of a change to Iran, the spike to come in commodities prices however will be quite disasterous for us. Hangover is coming regardless but it becomes exponentially more painful the longer the night goes on.

baby, isn't this exhausting? constantly summoning a new boogeyman to worry about? they've all been nothing. i even asked ai earlier today about energy bottlenecks, it's being solved for, solar/battery/gas in the short term, long term nuclear buildout. the market solves for shortages, when a problem gets big enough it gets very profitable to solve it and companies rush to make that money.

>>62392161
thanks for the (you), i really value your attention.
and you're right, they want to keep their proxies, and they showed they are willing to stick up for them with this closure announcement. the reality however is they are unable to enforce it and we mean business, so they will back down. you might be right about who has leverage and who is willing to endure more, but i disagree and see things the opposite. iran is suffering while the rest of the world is humming along mostly fine, and when the built up oil is released from the strait the clock resets for us, but the damage to them is already done and will take a long time to rebuild. as for israel, they've caused discontent with the public, but as soon as this is out of the news people will forget, and it's not the public opinion that matters anyways, it's the strategists and policymakers, and they're all in agreement, politicians can just lie on the campaign trail or avoid talking about it. i'm still thinking about you and i hope you can settle your nerves about all the chaos in the news and really start to make some money in the stock market, you deserve a break.
