What i hear(take with a grain of salt) is that planting is far more time sensitive than harvesting. Some of their harvesters are ancient but the tractor itself can do more than just planting so it tends to get upgraded or bought in multiples first. A good farmer ie financially smart will have that paid off and live fat and happy since it's something they upgrade the most. If they are rich however the harvester will get the upgrade sooner than later.
