It took years and an ungodly amount of hassle just to get the workers and unions at shipping ports to accept shipping containers 50+ years ago. Because truckers are always squawking on that CB, word gets around, and there's usually always another truck stop within the next hour's haul.... so it's hard to imagine a shitty truck stop diner staying in business for long.
