I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more garlic.
>>21709000It has to be fresh garlic though, especially on pizza. I had a Papa Murphy's pizza once with "garlic" and it was the rancid pre-minched shit from a can. Ruined the whole goddamn pizza.
>>21709000That garlic looks good. Could use more garlic though.
>>21709035That's probably Chinese garlic, if you pay attention to where your garlic comes from (and don't just buy the cheapest garlic possible), this isn't a problem.
>>21709038How or why would I know where a chain restaurant sources its garlic?
>>21709040If it's Papa Murphy's it's Chinese. Any cheap shit like that is going to cut corners
>>21709035I made a pizza at home and used jarred garlic before I knew it had citric acid added as a preservative. Pizza tasted so weird and I didn't know why at first, was disappointed. It's mostly okay in something like tomato sauce where it's acidic anyway and gets diluted but just added straight on top of a pizza was weird.
>>21709066Yeah it's fucking gross and if I find that a pizzeria uses it I never go back there
>>21709000I just made garlic bread with fresh minced garlic, plant butter, and a couple pinches of herbs. Shit was cash money.
>>21709135Sounds so good
>>21709135What kind of plants were churned in your butter?
>>21710281Isn't that just margarine?
>>21709000i would like to recommend thyme, ginger, and ginseng as well
>>21709038this anon is right>>21709040most restaurants do, because it is the most profitable for them to use, cook for yourself>>21709066yea jarlic is never good, part of the reason is because alicin is quite unstable
>>21709000luv me garlicsimple as
y'all should try the garlic Tabasco. good on pizza.
Excuse me, sir, the only fever we have on this board is butthole fever. You may be lost. Go back to your containment board .>>>/ck/
>>21709000I'm sorry son, you're going to die.I've been growing some metechi. I could mash up a clove for you, but I don't think it's a substitute for modern medicine. Have you tried an antipyretic? Tylenol even?
>>21709813Update: didn't eat all of it, so I put the rest in the fridge. Still good cold for breakfast.
>>21710559Is that one new? I only ever see the regular, chipotle and the green one in stores around here.
