why does raw beef taste better than raw chicken or pork?
>>
how many times have you eaten raw pork

I’ll ask the stray cat that lives behind the dumpster next time I bring out my garbage pails

Higher saturated fat.

I have accidentally eaten raw chicken and it was very bland (hence why I didn't realise until halfway through the first mouthful) and rubbery.

Tartare has a lot of seasoning. Blue steak is seared. You can probably make pork tartare.

pretty common in krautland (and VERY good food)
>>
To quote Dennis Leary, "Meat tastes like murder and murder tastes pretty god damn good."
>>
Raw pork is top tier though what are you talking about. Never tried raw chicken but it doesn't sound very appealing.

Mett sucks. Also trichinosis is still a problem in Europe.
>>
>why do different things taste different?
because they’re different things. retard.
>>
>>21842850
Because lightly toasted baguette slices in butter are a thousand times better?
>>
>>21842969
sometimes chips just hit the spot, especially decent quality ones made in olive oil
>>

I only ever had raw beef and pork. Both have no strong flavour and it doesn't help it's usually served cold. There's a reason steak tartare is covered with gherkins, capers, herbs and onions and mett with many spices and onions too.
Also red meats are usually more flavourful than white meats anyway.

how about smoked veal that's pretty much raw with onions, also viet dish

How safe is it to eat raw beef from Whole Foods. Not ground beef but whole cuts. There's a weird schizo live streamer who is really into all the strange alternative diet stuff and he eats raw ribeyes from WF all the time.
>>
>>21842729
Always liked raw tuna more than raw beef.

For beef, It's the quality of the beef and egg which make it go from gross to amazing
>>
>>21843836
I eat raw beef from a butcher and from Kroger, and I'm not dead yet
Or maybe I am and browsing 4chan is Hell
>>
I took a food hygiene course once and the instructor said raw beef is safe because the muscle density is too high for bacteria to penetrate.

My mum is a huge problem in Europe, yes. She's a photographer and whenever I visited with her as a child she was always trespassing like a paparazzi.
>>
>>21844263
It is not. You have to either cook the outside, or take your chances.
>>
>>21844263
Oof. Lucky we can fact-check damn near everything these days.
There are bacteria in the dense boiling hot rocks kilometres beneath our planet's surface. Hard to imagine them being stumped by a bit of bovine brawn.
