I run a Five Guys and it is practically empty half the time. They used to print money. Why aren't Americans eating here any more?
>>22027440no one wants your goyslop made by shartdeeps shit covered hands. i can make 10 burgers at home for the price of one of your shit covered burgers.
>>22027440I don’t want to pay $25 for a greasy ass burger, fries, and a drink. Also, no drive thru.
>>22027445I guarantee you make dogshit burgers and I guarantee that you like your anus penetrated. I agree about five guys though
>>22027448you want to fight? i'll fuck you in the ass.
>>22027440>double the cost of in n out>half the quality It's a mystery
I've never seen a Five Guys that wasn't completely empty. Even at their "peak" literally no one was inside. I have no idea how they ever made a profit.
>>220274755 Guys used to be very popular several years ago, but that was before single-patty burgers were breaking $8. Fast and fast-casual are quickly becoming the same price as regular restaurants, so people are just opting to get a full meal than (formerly) cheap slop.
I don’t eat at places where brown people work so nothing has really changed as far as how often I go to 5 guys maybe other people are starting to catch.
>>22027440Did they do the same shit there as they/Darven did in Canada? Shut down all the benefits, bonuses, infrastructure, and anything else that made it worthwhile working there?
>>22027440$8 a burger, bud
>>22027440Way too expensive
>>22027440It's alright i guess. There are much better options out there, even if you're one of those fags that say, "omg i can make better at home!1!111!!"
I’m european who visited USA and five guys had the best burger and fries i tasted.
>>22027596I make vicious burgers, but I can't be fucked prepping toppings for like two or three people. If I'm making burgers, I am grinding the meat, baking the buns, crammelizing half of the onions, slicing and dicing for no less than a dozen people... preferably no more than a hundred - it becomes a lot of work.
>>22027440Here's the rub:1. You can get a burger at a sit down restaurant for cheaper than 5 Choads2. Mom and pop diner places make better burgers than they ever will for cheaper (my local one makes steakburgers that are fucking awesome)3. Soggy fries suck4. I can airfry or panfry an identical slop burger at home with no effort for cheaper5. While airfrying said burger I can add tots or other potato product with it - both get done together6. Anything grilled will just mog anything available from Juan, Sapjeet, or Tyrone in the back of any place. Yes it takes work, but it's worth it for tasty ass burgers.
>>22027440It used to be that five guys was a good deal because you got a shitload of good fresh friesAt its current prices even with the shitload of fries it's not worth it
>>22027440I went to one once many years ago. the wife and I ordered 2 burgers and a small fry to share. the fries were and absurd amount and the burgers were over huge and not very good. we never went back.
I don't know why they ever went. I was making the point that you should just go to chilis for a way cheaper and better burger like literally 10 years ago. It seems the normalfaggotcattle have finally caught up to me
>>22027440If you actually were a small business owner you'd know a bit about the market you're operating in and not be on 4chan asking such retarded questions.
>>22027440contary to popular belief among investors, doubling the price does not double profits
>>22027440Because rowdy teens ate all the free peanuts.
>>22027440It's so fucking expensive during a time where everyone is brike and treating out is a luxury. Nobody wants to spend 18$ on a burger, in fact it's probably 20 now. It's really good, thea not a soul who will say "5 guys burgers taste bad" but it's soooo fucking expensive. Why not just spend that at a nice sit down instead?
>Why aren't Americans eating here any more?i only eat food mate by white people
>>22028016This, went recently and it was nearly $20 a person for burgers, fries, and drinksThat said I really liked the food and the place was nice and clean
>>22028012conversely>go to In N Out>average looking White guy in his early 20's takes my order and is friendly>look behind the counter>it's almost all young White people working thereis it any wonder why In N Out is superior to Five Guys?
>>22027440>I run a Five GuysDo you really? Then why are you shit-talking your own business? But yeah, Five Goys sucks. Way too overpriced. I can get a better bacon cheeseburger at Wendy's (the Baconator(TM)) for half of what Five Goys charges.
>>22027440You can only charge so much for a plain unseasoned hunk of ground beef on a grocery store bun before people decide it's cheaper and faster to just make em' themselves
What a sad way to organize your advertising. Using one of the deadest boards on 4chan… it almost makes me sad
>>22029817Obviously that limit hast been reached yet. As long as the government subsidizes this shit as “ebt” it will never end and spiral into the worst goyslop you can imagine
>>22029831You think EBT covers five guys?
>>22029834Every store in my pozzed area accepts ebt for everything. Hot food, fast food, delivery food. They can even use loopholes to buy alcohol with it. I’m in Minnesota so it’s all just fucked
>>22029831>As long as the government subsidizes this shit as “ebt”it doesn't though
>>22029837What? I'm in Minnesota and Minnesota's SNAP program absolutely does not allow anything hot. The closest you can get with SNAP in Minnesota is things like take and bake pizza at Papa Murphy's or things like pre-cooked rotisserie chickens that have been cooled. The only way people are using EBT cards for other things are the rare cases where it's not for Food Stamps and is just used like a debit card, which is only for retards and not connected to the Food Stamps/SNAP program.
>>22029840Maybe my employers didn’t want problems with niggers so they just claimed ebt was acceptable for everything to avoid a chimpout
>>22029842I guess maybe they're doing shit differently down in the blue counties but on a state-wide level it's not allowed to use SNAP to pay for hot food. Maybe they finally added unemployment benefits/disability as straight up cash you can spend on whatever to EBT cards like they've been claiming they've wanted to do for the last 15 years finally, but I'm not sure.I'll believe it's something like that, though, makes more sense than thinking you're lying.
>>22029845Yeah I’m relatively close to Minneapolis so it’s probably different. I love this state but I fucking hate the government policies here
>>22029848I'm with you man. Good luck down there.
>>22029850I’m going up north next week to replenish my fish supply as well as my sanity. Thanks for the confidence
>>22029851Nice, good luck. I came across kind of harsh in my first post, apologize for that.
Pig-fucking rubes
>>22027440Mayeb have a menu?
>>22027440For a long time I had wanted to try 5 guys. None were near where I lived in CT. Never happened to be hungry when occasionally driving past one an hour or 45 mins away. Eventually one opened near me but at that point the prices were absurd so I rather just order from my local pizza places or get cheaper burgers from mcdonalds. Then I moved away. So I still havnt tried it.
