I feel like Hickman could do really well with Spider-man at this rate. His writing style on big events with high concepts can make the characters come off as smarmy but on a smaller and more intimate story like this it gives the characters an intelligent voice and agency. I hope he sticks with it.

I'm just sticking around on ASM until the pendulum swings back to good. I had a fun time with Spencer, and it's only a matter of time before someone over at the office cleans house. I think there's still some neat stuff you can do with Chasm/Hallows Eve, but not with Wells on the book. Lowe is the bigger issue too. Spider Boy fags on /co/ are just pedos, and the book doesn't interest me. Plus its not even acknowledged by anyone so I don't see the point. Miles's book is a bit too anime, but I the rogues gallery he's building at least.Also I just wish the Spider-Man 2 game had some goddamn DLC already
