Inability to hold a thematically consistent tone.Like it doesn't know what the hell its audience is supposed to be so it keeps jerking itself back and forth between being a show for literal babies and being a show for a young adult audience. Before the hiatus it was a bit better at this, a slow transition into something more mature and serious with room for humor and silly moments, but then the show came back and it's like it lost its sense of tone entirely.

There's just the "Human side of the continent" which is generically diverse, and then the "Elf side of the continent" which has the appropriate kind of elf living in the appropriate kind of biome, which is better but also utterly braindead. And worst of all, the elves aren't described in new terms, they're just generic nature loving elves you've seen a thousand times before - only now with horns built for use as handlebars during sex in fanart and seemingly no other reason. There is no attempt at originality or novelty on either side of the continent, it's just that same "human don't respect nature, elf do" story you've already heard but probably better; only now there is a brown skinned boy prince whose ethnicity has no story or history or weight behind it because we must all be so generically equal that we may as well not have any past at all. If you're living in Spain, your family has a story of how and when it got there. Maybe it was during the Muslim conquest, maybe it was during the Roman period. Whatever, it's interesting. And in worldbuilding, this is the meat of your setting. But with modern leftist politics, that's not allowed. Everything must be not just a melting pot, but one never given any thought or mention. It's BORING.
