Honestly I would have said for years that Matt had a worse life, but has he really? Peters life has been nothing but shit for the past 20 irl years, Matt has had more bright spots.

Peter at least had May and Ben to love and nurture him in at least a middle-class household even if he was getting picked on at school. Matt grew up in a rundown home with a single father who did underground boxing, got blinded when he was still a kid, lost his dad when he was still just a kid only for him to be replaced by admittedly not the most loving old ninja mentor, and whenever Stick wasn't around Matt basically had to raise himself in arguably worse conditions. The fact that they both take Ls in life even as adults kinda strengthens the argument that Matt's life is genuinely worse, to me at least.
