It's time to admit that this was kino.
It was bad and forgettable. Raimi's directorial flair only evident in a couple scenes, otherwise same old assembly line slop.

MoM is completely devoid of personality for like 90% of the movie, completely indiscernible from most other Marvel trash outside of the wizard fight near the end and Strange's awesome skeleton cape, both of which felt VERY Raimi without relying on wacky camera angles.Most of the movie is just dull and the plot doesn't make much sense without having seen WandaVision and even if you have, it's a jarring change of character for Wanda after she gave up the illusion in WandaVision.

Things just happen because the script says it has to, it doesn't align up with the character's previous appearances and nothing of interest is done with the world or heroes in it. Notice how absolutely nobody remembers this version of America Chavez, not even fans of the movie talk about it, just about Wanda and Strange. That's because everything about that is absolutely worthless. The Illuminati scene is discussed a lot, but that's the least of this movie's many dumb scenes. It's just a dumb stupid movie that takes itself too seriously and ends up embarrassing itself. Not having dogshit cinematography and visuals isn't a feat, it's the bare minimum, which most MCU fails to achieve.
