Would they all be Americans citizens?
Would it be an international team?
Would the agency just hire the best from other countries if they think they're good enough or possibly only Ally countries?
Would there be recognize Court team and and less than 15 Joe's?
Should most of the member be secondary d characters but full member GI Joes?
How confident would Cobra Commander be?

First off I wouldn’t because everything is made by troons and pink haired women these days so it would be awful. But…
>Would they all be Americans citizens?
Obviously
>Would it be an international team?
As in operate internationally? Yes. But they’re all American born.
>Would the agency just hire the best from other countries if they think they're good enough or possibly only Ally countries?
No.
>Would there be recognize Court team and and less than 15 Joe's?
Is this English?
>Should most of the member be secondary d characters but full member GI Joes?
Is this English?
>How confident would Cobra Commander be?
Extremely, obviously,

Would there be a recognized court protagonist team of less than 10 Joe's?
Should most of the members of GI Joe be secondary characters but full member GI Joes?Like might be important for one episode but usually in the background doing other stuff think X-Men: Evolution after they got a lot more mutants joining the school but most of them didn't get much in the way of screen time.

I would probably just write a story around the current classified action figures.

All I know is that I'd want Larry Hama as the lead writer.

As a non-American, I want my GI Joe to be as American as it gets, and proudly patriotic. I'm OK with a few international members getting on the team, characters like Backstop, Red Dog, Taurus, Big Ben and Red Star existed back in the day, but they should be the exceptions, not the norm.

A new cartoon would work better with a clearly defined small core cast, but establish that there's a much larger roster of Joes, and various other characters can be rotated into the cast for guest roles in episodes because they're some kind of specialist that will be needed for that episode's mission, if some of them end up getting popular maybe move them up to the core cast.

>How confident would Cobra Commander be?
Very overconfident until everything starts going wrong for him.

Sadly this guy is right, they'd surely make a Cobra Commander who was once a man.

>Would they all be Americans citizens?
Yes. Maybe a few children of 1st gen immigrants if we need diversity.
>Would it be an international team?
As needed, yes.
>Would the agency just hire the best from other countries if they think they're good enough or possibly only Ally countries?
No but I think I'd like the idea of there being GIJ equivalents in other countries some of which are friendly.
>Would there be recognize Court team and and less than 15 Joe's?
I'm assuming you mean CORE. I think I'd like to keep stuff simple and small just to make it easier to write. Though I'd probably bring in some back ups as needed. Even 15 is a lot really.
>Should most of the member be secondary d characters but full member GI Joes?
I'd like a decent mix, I don't really know who all the super popular ones are these days.
>How confident would Cobra Commander be?
Do you mean COMPETENT? I think I'd go for a more legitimate threat but not so overbearingly so.

There should absolutely be a NATO extension of GI Joe with an American lead unit made of a colorful cast of characters from our allies, with all of the problems/hilarity that entails.

Wait okay, guys. What if, here me out. G.I Joe Academy! Set it during military school with young cadets needing to learn how to be soldiers, pass their exams and all the while they form a long rivalry with the newly formed PMC school across the way Cobra University who don't seem like they're up to anything good. And oh yeah! PROMS TOMORROW!!

You've just reminded me that there's actually a novel with Snake Eyes and some other GI Joe characters as teens at school, it sounded awful.
>>
>>143340693
Halfway through writing that I realized it is exactly the kind of thing some exec might push. I mean remember Wing Commander Academy?

>How would you pitch a new GI Joe cartoon?

I'd walk into the meeting cool as a fan then calmly stand as the meeting started from my seat and say one thing: "We own Overwatch but better you dumb motherfuckers!" Then I'd walk around the meeting table jap slapping every executive there and questioning their sexual prowess and orientation for a solid hour. Every time they said but what do we do? I'd throw a different comic at them follow by my own spit in their general direction.

Speaking of games. You see that trailer for the upcoming Wrath of Cobra? It looks like a crappy knock off Shredder's Revenge. Why they didn't make it a Metal Slug knock off is just beyond me.
>>
>>143337396
Would GI Joe even survive today's climate.
>>
>>143340966
Normal people would like it fine. It's the insane weirdos on Twitter that'd bitch to the high heavens. They're a very loud minority.
>>
>>143340966
If you just did it and didn't give a fuck you'd probably get on just fine from the nostalgia value.
>>
>>143340991
Might be fun to lean into that. Have the classic Joes clash with some newer ones, but ultimately teach them to be better soldiers and learn something new themselves. I can see Shipwreck learning the value of respecting pronouns while teaching a young sailor how to better pilot naval drones.
