I think Michelle has adapted a style that is easier for her to deliver on the weekly basis. I hope she still puts the big effort in for special scenes. Art is 70% of the reason the series got popular

I miss when the art was a bit more... moody? Played more with shadows and light/dark contrasts. Characters also seemed a bit less same-facey (although that probably was always a bit of an issue, just one I tended to let slide)
