Or even Gaiman. Yes, he got paid and has made money from WB and DC, but nothing has really been successful. Kirkman hasn't been able to do much with Invinciboy now that the first flush of the first season is well and truly done away with - without any residual good will. And Millarworld has just been an expensive failure so far for Netflix. So neither of those are necessarily really good examples for Cereal Lord to emulate save for The Walking Dead.And so far, he's not been able to pull off anything even slightly near to being able to even launch something like TWD.
