>>143366510Haven't used any programs like that before. Here's what google provided me.https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Mass+image+cropperAnother idea I just got was, to redownload all those images and unzip/unpack them with a different program than the one you used to unpack these pics with.I for one use whatever windows has as part of its programs. But sometimes it likes to fuck around with some pics and they won't unpack/unzip.In those situations, I find it useful to try another unpacker program, like 7zip or winrar.Maybe using one of those to unpack the images, will make them more palatable to 4chan?

>>143366611I fucking got it. the one program I was searching for was "mass image compressor". it kept crashing for some reason, but eventually worked. the artbook I got was in .webp, which 4chan doesn't like.
but enough about that. let's talk about how we missed on having this goofy guy as our protagonist.

I really like the early art's details.so just to remind, tomorrow you'll read Yokai with Enmanon, and sunday will be Senso, the end of our storytime. expect it around UTC 12:00. before I leave you guys in the hands of our lovely judger of souls, let me do two things: first, I compiled the character theme songs from both the dojo site and the one suggested here:https://pastebin.com/heAgHEyJI wish I had the time to properly comb through that site. maybe next year I'll prepare something. second, it's about time we set up a best girl poll:https://strawpoll.com/mpnboDQ4wg5vote now! with that, see you sunday!

>>143372233Kek. Thanks, Anon.Hot take: I prefer Grasscutter II. While Part I is great, and each segment of it's story is superbly written, the entire Ikeda/Noriyuki part could have been removed and used for a standalone issue(s) happening between Grasscuter I and II and it wouldn't change a thing when it comes to the sword plot. It's only there because of how convenient the timing of the betrayal is.Meanwhile, the narrative of Grasscutter II is much more tight, the comic has more action and every person present gets a nice character arc which adds to the larger plot. It may be smaller in scope (there is no conspiracy of lords or supernatural beings involved), but it's much grander in everything else. GCII also has possibly the best moment of the entire series, when general Ikeda realizes how much power he could instantly gain if he returned with Grasscutter in hand, but the implications terrify him so much that he rejects the possibility instantly. There is incredible power in that short scene.
>>143367834>>143372932>Tomoe action figureThink about the possibilities. Meanwhile, so many jars are just standing there, empty...
I don't want us to be over.
>>143373868As long as theres anons to appreciate these stories and chareacters it will never be over.
>>143366936>>143366944Man I love the way this illustrates this as being a genuine flashback and not just a vivid memory, specifically the 3 panels starting at the last panel of the first page. The army in the memory starts forming out of the storm clouds. It becomes larger and more material as it "approaches" Usagi. Then, with still no change to his position in the shot, Usagi is suddenly fighting in the army himself. The realness of the memory overwhelmed his sense of reality.

>>143368930>1st edition is just a straight Fuzion system so if you like 3d6 + skill, roll over, there you goIt also has interesting combat system where the decisions on whether to go for Cautious Attack, All-Out Attack, or Full Defence are revealed for all characters at once making it play a bit like rock-paper-scissors.Looks like I can't share it here, so have a link.https://files.catbox.moe/e16ey8.pdf

>>143372233Is it just me or is 2nd Edition just not finished? I read it cover to cover and I have no idea how to play. Am I retarded? Am I destined to join the ranks of the forever gameless?
>>143373717I think Part II is really good but I like how part I has some extraneous stuff with Ikeda. Grasscutter I works because you're not always sure where the story is going.Agree that the sequence where Ikeda rejects the temptation of the sword is one of the best in the series.
>>143368912Yokai and Senso are left.
>>143375329>the decisions on whether to go for Cautious Attack, All-Out Attack, or Full Defence are revealed for all characters at once making it play a bit like rock-paper-scissorsThat's pretty creative, and nicely emulates the "quick-draw showdown" style of action in samurai period dramas.
>>143376648>emulates the "quick-draw showdown" style of action in samurai period dramas.I agree, which is precisely why I bothered to mention it and share the combat rules.I'd love to play a game with combat like this, it doesn't even need to be Usagi.
