I think it was a very nice read but rather than a straight-up story is more of a vehicle for Juni to tell his view of the Robins. I think he nailed that early Damian who is still coming to grips with being Batman's son and while Dick came off as a tad too idealized and perfect, is still a really good take on Dick. Still, it will be how he handles Jason what will determine for me if Juni can write something of substance or just another Tynion writing what Twitter/Tumblr wants to see.

This book is advertised as needing no prior comic knowledge, but the exposition feels too quick and sparse for a total newbie. The selling point of a book like this should be its accessibility. I love Juni's art and intend to pick up the GN as a cool art book. Writing seems pretty nothing, but sometimes that's fine.
