I'm just making theorys because they are fun, but I think the kid Gert killed her adult self because is an expresion of be a new person, I mean the adult still a mess up, the kid Gert is there for trying to fix her life, that's why Skottie make her the protagonist again, but after she realize if she leaves and becomes well, her canon self and her life sucks she choose to stay in fairyland, but we know this can't keep forever, so MAYBE the adult of original series is just the Gert of the revival, so as we know the kid Gert don't want to leaves and everyone in Fairyland wants to get rid and the only one Who can do that is Gert, well yeah, problably she Will be back and then both get out of fairyland by the Doors as she suppose to do, and I'm saying this because everybody is thinking she never comes back so I want to make you feels better and make you all shut up for a while, but remember Who makes the comic is Skottie, so anticlimax Will be everywhere, things like Gert is in the real world because that's her own hell sho she meets Cloudia and bla bla, Happy owns the hell, disturbing sex scenes with the guy of the maze or the meat Pinocchio (if one is not a pederast and the other doesn't became a real man and kicked Gert for a normal woman) so, i'm saying, peoples is expecting a lot of this series but it seems like You should keep the original end if anyways, nothing Will change and the revival is just for people Who likes the comic because is funny so... I loved the ending and hated the revival. Something about Scottie Young that really bothers me is he doesn't seem to take his own work seriously, characters are made for jokes that aren't that funny and they never get any depth. Adult Gert back in Fairyland could have been cool, she could have been a little more cool headed or different in some way but she just ends up regressing to her old self. It's disappointing.
