Let's all be honest here for a moment. Everyone and their mom knows that Penders and his wife did not want the characters to be removed. The real goal of this long con they were trying to pull was either to get Penders back into Archie with more control over characters and stories (and probably a more secure position), or, at worst, to get some fat monthly royalty checks while still keeping some creative control.I don't blame them. On paper, it was a sound plan: the Penders characters and lore were too ingrained in the comic to be removed easily, and a reboot would mean throwing away almost 250 issues' worth of continuous plot, given that 90% of the current plots involved said characters. >>152311688>>152311829That sounds like an entirely in character amount of Sticks being retarded honestly.I could see her far off in the woods avoiding Knuckles and throwing rocks at random things she interprets as a threat while Knuckles and Sonic deal with the big stuff related to Angel Island.It doesn't really reflect poorly of Knuckles in theory since any trace of Sticks could easily be written off as some sort of animal and she is the kind of character to compulsively cover her tracks.Since it is Ian Flynn though she would probably be moderately competent in a way that would be a smidge embarrassing for Knuckles but still.
