Why are the eltingville club comics so expensive? I found a copy of dorks for $3 and bought the milk & cheese tpb from ebay for $7. While it was always part of the comic from the start I think it's the mandom story and the end of the zombie walk when things start falling apart in a bad way. Earlier stories like the trivia off had more humor to soften the harshness and you could still imagine the boys being horrible in a low stakes goofy fun way. There's also the implied family trouble behind the scenes which suggests Bill turned harder to fandom shit over time to cope with his parents divorcing.
