If you look to the last panel, you may (let's be honest, will) spot a familiar face from the Ish #6 previews... one who you might not necessarily expect to share a comic with a Celtic sea fairy.The way I've been writing these is, all the scripts for minicomics go in one big file in the dropbox. If I have a strong idea for a comic, I'll often outline it before the vote is decided, or sometimes even write it out entirely, so there are some scripts in there that don't correspond to a finished mini.Partway through working out Lorelei's script, I got a basic idea for a Kongquistador mini, so I write it down past the end of this one. Shortsteel interpreted this as Kong being present in the final panel, transforming into his familiar gorilla form while handling some loot from the wreck. Weirdly, this sort of worked- Kong was a museum curator prior to his monkey metamorphosis, so a shipwreck laden with treasures from the age of sail would be well within his field of expertise. With Kong already in the inked panel, we quickly reworked the ship from a British vessel from the Napoleonic Wars into a Spanish one returning from the Americas. The time frame gets a bit fuzzy so this might get tweaked a bit if Kongquistador gets his own mini, but we'll climb that skyscraper when we come to it. For now, enjoy the odd happenstance as the gorilla crashes the seal's party!

Nicky made a comment in one of the comics that Colette 'has experience with kidnappings and hostages' and in S2 she ends up taking Lila hostage, even if she was doing it to help the Justice Comrades. Also in both seasons, even though JC are considered good guys, they became bad guys only because the Justice Industrial Complex are portrayed to citizens as 'the better good guys'. And the comrades are not exactly winners in either season, having to disband in the first season and getting caught in the second season (because NTH betrayed them).
