its an assembly line system, you get a lot of people to knock out the letters in a day or so and work on another comic

Why is it always different guys doing the pencils and inks? What if someone fucks up a drawing by over inking it?

High regarded pencillers have a say in who inks them, and often have the luxury of not even completing their pencls/ Jim Lee can basically give a sketch to Scott Williams and Williams would know how Lee would likely want the finished product.

>>152541230The real answer: the publisher outsourced the coloring and lettering to studios rather than having their own colorist or letterer on staff. The names are just everyone from those studios.
>>152544238In addition to what the others have said there's a lot of time and cost saving techniques like using screentones or 3D programs to make models to draw over. Sometimes a page is just a character with a screentone under them and some filters over them to fill the page. I've seen pages with nothing drawn on it and it's just boxes with what a character is thinking with some gradient. And not using color also helps.
