I think there was a trend a few years ago where people pretended to be Family Guy stan accounts but whether this unironic fanbase resulted from those people starting to genuinely enjoy the show or just actual devoted fans coming out of the woodwork is up in the air. I saw one of the bigger artist post that she had bought a lot of FG Chinese doujinshi, I wish I saved the post but there are definitely a few people in East Asia making fan manga, art and bits of merch.
