It showed more in some of his maximortal comics and came to a head when he just straight up wrote about comic authors getting fucked over in the text of the script.If this ever got revisited I think that's the angle they'd really need to push to set it apart, but I doubt the real raw anger at corporate interests fucking up the creative process and treating employees badly is going to hit home quite as much now that we've had like 30 years of indie comics and manga dogwalking the old publishing leaders.
