So if they have access to the internet now, couldn't they make their own social media profile? The implications are insane. They could directly reach out to their IRL counterparts, prove through private knowledge in DMs that they are brain scans from that headset...I mean shit they could do some really fucked up shit to the real world. It would be international news once confirmed. People would line up by the thousands to be scanned in and, obviously, the main crew and Caine would have control over whether or not to approve new entries. Realistically they could probably recreate The Sims using real human brain scans to play the ultimate video game, creating simulations within their own simulation.
