So when she gets Caine to confirm, they see she's mysteriously gone too!They figure out how Kinger did it, by projecting and conjuring those positive feelings or some sappy shit into the Abstracted and helping THEM "Pass on" by countering their fucked up minds.Then Pomni's able to finally pass on, we watch Caine be all alone, and then we see the NPCs gather to talk about how he did a good job, that the cast loved him, and that he made up for the wrongs he committed.Caine finds acceptance and closure in that only to find he too can finally pass on. As he does, the entire Circus passes on as it's connected to him and we see the void be filled with beautiful motes of golden light.We're left with a zoom out into reality where the computer they're hosted on starts to break, static out, and finally shut off for good.Spoils eats the golden motes, Fishguy wakes up screaming, and the reveal is that it was Fishguy's nightmare.
