Do you think DC will give JSA another writer or just cancel the book?
>>154499503I'm leaning towards DC just canceling the book. I can't imagine it sells very well.
Has his JSA been any good?I remember Lemire admitting himself that he's not great with team books and has trouble writing them, so I found it strange he was put on JSA.
Does the JSA still have a reason to exist as a book? I’ve always found it odd you have super-heroes who are over one hundred years old with children who are in their twenties and thirties. I feel like it would work much better if it was set in the 1980s, much like the original Roy Thomas run.
>>154499888This is just me, but I feel like JSA is in this weird position where nostalgia drives interest in them, but not many actually want to read their stories.I think the better approach for modern readers would be to have them as a part of the DC-world, cameo'ing in other books, showing up for events, etc. But without a book of their own. Seed them into the minds of readers, make them a staple of the world, and see if they like it. THEN, you throw out a mini once in a blue moon to gauge sales.Put a moratorium on ongoings while you rebuild them in the modern audience's mind.Nobody has that kind of a patience these days, alas.
>>154500031>just do bunch of guest stars spots, that’ll create interest! No it won’t.
>>154499888I've never been interested in that team and will probably never be.
>>154499503Why don't we ever have threads about writers doing things like this? Why is /co/ so worthless? Why does 4chan feel like, even though it only concerns itself with mainstream news, is always behind a day or two?
>>154500031>This is just me, but I feel like JSA is in this weird position where nostalgia drives interest in them, but not many actually want to read their storiesI feel the same. I always had an interest in them, but when
