Cartoons and comics aren't really made by (or for) the "4chan type," it's not like with anime and manga where 2ch references are pretty common, since the 2ch type tends to get published and have their properties adapted a lot more than the 4chan type, and is far more represented in their domestic entertainment industries than the 4chan type is.

The golden age of 4chan was when /b/ was considered the front page of the site and it was mostly just a haven for edgelords posting weird hentai like shitting dick nipples or memeing about nyan cat. Things didnt start to go really sour until around 2015 when all the culture war shit started happening and then 4chans involvement in such things made the sites already bad reputation even worse2. /co/ itself has become alot more critical of cartoons especially more modern cartoons within the last decade. As others here already said industry people have come here or mentioned us/referenced /co/ before in interviews, tweets, or even easter eggs in comics and cartoons. However since /co/ has become more dismissive and hostile towards the industry (a combination of /co/ users being more snobish or outraged over trivial shit and cartoons legitimately getting of worse quality during certain times within the 2010s) animators stopped coming in the board or referencing us in a positive way if at all.
