Show me your most expensive comic book. Picrel's mine. Picked it up for one fiddy ($150) some time ago.
>>155679829I own a Batman #423 1st print, I got lucky and paid literally $1 for it.
>>155679929pic and tits + timestamp or gtfo
>>155680005No tits available, but here you go.
>>155680177nice
>>155679829Just looked it up and damn, it kinda sucks sometimes when one issue in an entire series is the only one with value and sometimes is way and above in value to a ludicrous degree. But I guess when you finally get it or happen to get it, it must feel pretty good. Goddamn, that Harley Quinn one you have can get high in price.I hate Knull. But I managed to be picking up the Cates run when it was happening so yeah I own a $100 book because of that with Venom issue 3.
>>155679829Probably Department of Truth #1. Foil Frison variant, limited to 75 copies and signed by Tynion. Too scarce to really pin down the value.I've also got a 3rd printing TMNT #1 that's in the same range.
>>155679829I own a Savage She-Hulk (1980) #1 that I bought for like $4 over a decade ago. Not taking it out of my longbox for 4Chan but I've been a Jenfag for quite some timeThose early issues are actually my favorite stories featuring that character
>>155679829I have this issue, got it in a bundle of DC wholesale inventory from my mom for Christmas of 1993. I have a lot of comics and honestly don't know which ones are worth the most. Grade and trends fluctuate constantly, so I have no idea. I did get a healthy stack of early Marvel books about a year ago for only a dollar or two per-book, that was a nice get.
>>155679829I have a copy of Batman Adventures 12 that I bought from a garage sale for $2. This was back in 2012 or so. I have a beat up crappy copy of Tomb of Dracula 10 that I bought from a used bookstore for $2.
>>155680614>I have a copy of Batman Adventures 12 that I bought from a garage sale for $2. This was back in 2012 or so.I'm not sure what happened exactly, but Batman Adventures used to be a common, bargain book until someone realized it was Harley Quinn's first appearance in a comic, declared it a key, and the price shot up overnight.
>>155680647Harley Quinn really wasn't very popular in the mainstream until Suicide Squad came out. I remember back when I first got the comic in 2012 or so, it was really only like $25 on Ebay.
>>155679829>$150You're a sad fuck.
>>155680711seethe harder you faggot if i listed the rest from my collection you‘d kill yourself
>>155680755>you‘d kill yourselfFrom laughing too hard
>>155679829>($150)Why? What makes it so valuable?
>>155679829Uhhh I bought a trade for like 20 bucks does that count
>>155680867It's now considered a key: First appearance of Harley Quinn in a comic (though she obviously was in Batman The Animated Series before this).
I have Hulk #181, asm #129, asm #122, and secret wars #8.
